Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was. To an extent, do we say it excused Dumbledore a little more because falling in love can blind us to an extent? I don't see anything wrong with it, personally. I think most of the people that are sensitive to it aren't even gay, but straight people with hetero guilt.

Several hours later I look at what I wrote and say, "Jesus. Was that me?" My rantrage goes to far sometimes. I kind of took him too seriously. He just took sooooooo much time doing the 'research' to say Harry Potter is gay for sheer shock value. Get a life.

But I don't Think he is saying gays are bad. My ex is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. A fangirl to the point of calling Harry 'so hot'. Not Danielle Radcliffe, Harry. And I feel this guy did this to piss off the fangirls with the message of 'If Harry were real, he wouldn't want to be with you cuz he's gay.' Maybe.

But maybe he is just a d-bag who wants attention.

I think dry British humour often gets lost on people more often than not.

I would suggest he's as big a harry potter fan as say, most people are. He has all the books for a start (not that I'm being anal, but having watched some of his other videos you can see the books lying in his bookshelf; I don't think they were solely props for ridicule).

Not to mention, he makes a relatively interesting case; at least as good as any Harry/Ron fanfictionado might make. The Stonewall reference threw me for a loop as well. 😀

Apparently JK had Alan Rickman in mind when she wrote the character. That said, when I read the books I pictured pretty much all the cast in such a different way that they appeared in the movies that I just wound up being horribly disappointed; it couldn't live up to my imagination.
