Ok... clue me in here... about this twitter....if you "follow" someone, can you post something they will see or do you only see what they posted and the only way they can see what you posted would be if they are "following" you?
Whats all the fuss about Twitter"?

Twitter is by far the dumbest site created. I don't understand why people need to post what they are doing at any given time of the day.

No one cares that much and if they do, you should put a restraining order on them.

I am a member of Facebook, Myspace, and until recently FetLife. Three is too damn many so I had my FL account deleted today.

yeah i don't understand what the big deal is of twitter everyone is talking about it what has our country gone too when people are writting everything they are doing every minute and second who care's i remember hearing a funny story on conan about a guy jogging while twittering and he jogged right into a tree lol

I don't really know what Twitter is, or the function it performs, just that a lot of celebrities apparently use it to inform 'people' (menial fans) of what's going on in their lives.

I don't know how it works. I don't care to know how it works, or what it does really. I don't have Facebook, Myspace, or any other form of electronic social networking (other than my basic email), and I plan on keeping it like that for quite a while. Maybe I'll get Facebook, so I can keep in contact with my friends, and far-away old school people I befriended at one of ... now 6 schools I've attended, I believe. :unsure

Like the majority of people here, I just don't see the point. But if you have it, you have it. And that's it, basically.

Twitter's a "micro-blog". As much as I don't care for twitter (I'm too long-winded for a MICRO-blog), the "I don't care to know" attitude is a little disturbing. I don't care much for social-networking in general, but everything has it's uses. Maybe one day I'll start a blog so I can vent my strong opinions away from places like this forum. Wouldn't that be useful, hmm? :stickout
