Two awesome (and COMPLETELY different) movies from the same script

These two six-minute movies were made from the same exact script.

They're both really good, and worth watching, but even more noteworthy is the fact that they are completely and totally different. One is a dark, 1984-ish sci fi scene, and the other could have been made by a fledgling Quentin Tarantino.

It's amazing what they were able to do using the exact same words, but different characters, settings, tones and themes.

Those were very well done! Thank you SO much for sharing. I liked them both, and the idea is amazing, using the same script for multiple videos. But I have to say that the first video truly made my day. Then again, I love that truly dark sci-fi/horror stuff anyways. I was captivated by that idea. Again, thanks so much <3 🙂 I'll have to take some time and check them out later this afternoon.

I did watch all 5 but these two in particular struck me as the standouts, making really creative, successful use of the script. I thought the others either went too obvious with their interpretation, or too esoteric.

The first one was great. Very reminiscent of Ray Bradbury. The second one kind of lost me. When she told him "Don't open it," to what was she referring?

She was referring to the front door, but I agree, I thought they kind of crowbarred some of the dialogue around the story they wanted to tell on the second one.
