A train accident has occurred near Chester, PA, taking two lives, and injuring thirty five others.

Very saddened about this terrible tragedy.

This sounds like so many things that could go wrong did in fact go wrong and alot of people got hurt as a result. 🙁

I wonder why a backhoe was on the tracks? Were the tracks near or in the middle of a farmer's field or something?

I also saw in the news today that a Wisconsin man was struck and killed by a train in a St Paul MN rail yard last weekend.
How many senseless tragedies will it take before the government gets serious about train related deaths? We have a train problem in this country and the politicians don't have the backbone to stand up to the powerful train lobby. Something needs to be done about our train related epidemic of deaths and injuries.
