The first computer that I ever used was an IBM 360/90 in a college class in 1969. It cost $2 million dollars then (when a new, full-sized car with an 8-cylinder engine went for about $4,000). It had a memory of 1200 KB, yes, I do mean about 1.2 MB. 😛 😛

Two million dollars in 1969.I wonder what that would project out to in todays dollars.

Using the Consumer Price Index as a rough guide, $11 or $12 million today.
