I have two female friends that hang out together. When they go out one is always getting hit on by guys all the time and the other usually doesn't get hit on at all.
The one that gets all the guys hitting on her gets depressed that she is only wanted for her looks and she can't meet a nice guy because most are just jerks that want to f*ck her. She wants to know how it feels to have guys that want to know her.
The other girl is depressed because guys rarely hit on her. When guys do hit on her its usually to be her boyfriend but they are far and few. She wants to know how it feels to have guys to want her physically.
The funny thing is that both girls are envious of each others life. It got me wondering. Which one would you rather be?
Growing up, I had a similar experience. When I was in my late 20's a friend of mine always got hit on by lots of women but he always complained that he couldn't find a woman that wanted to have a conversation with him without it leading to her wanting to sleep with him. He wasn't an a**hole, so I guess having good looks and personality helped but they didn't care if he had a brain.
I was always the guy to be put in the "friend category," so I wanted to be like him. He wanted to be like me. I guess both can be lonely roads.
