Types of Bondage Vs Pinning Down Vs Anything Else

Compared to pinning down and tickling someone, how does bondage measure up? Is it important for your fetish?

The only way I see it as important for my own play is to protect those tickling me from getting hurt. Though I absolutely love being tickled, I tend to fight like a maniac. Bondage is necessary to hold me still long enough to enjoy it more, too.

On the other hand, I also enjoy tickle fights/wrestling.

When im tickling someone, i like to pin them down with my legs or have their hands free so i can tickle them and they can tickle me back. I also like to give the other one a fighting chance. But when "it's on", the rules go out the window. The ticklee is tied up and i can tickle them a lot easier because i can have both hands free to tickle them all over and so they cant put their arms down when i tickle their sides or pull their feet away.

I like to be helpless when I am tickled, and since I am quite a large and STRONG female, that usually makes bondage necessary.

Not fun for me. Those 'lers who aren't that big have to find lees who are very small or very weak.

Pro bonds because bonds work on EVERYONE where holding down/pinning is very VERY conditional.

Besides, it consumes a LOT of energy. 3/4 the energy is spent trying to hold someone down and you can only devote a little bit of it to tickling. Get a real squirmer and you can forget about it.
So I'm pro bonds (and I don't mean Barry).

Bondage is a whole other kink for me, one which I like with or without tickling, so it's generally my preference whether I'm the 'ler or the 'lee. I have discovered the fun of tickle fights with someone equally ticklish, but I get winded so easily that the fights aren't fair, i.e., I lose.😛 So I'm pro bonds too (and I don't mean Gary U.S. Bonds).

I enjoy keeping my ticklee helpless...and it's SO much the better if she enjoys the bondage and the bondage process as well, since it can take time to do some things right. 😉 I like to be meticulous sometimes, experimental at others, and sometimes quick & efficient. 😎 (If she's not so keen on being tied up, then it always has to be fast. lol) Then, I can devote ALL my energies to applying ticklish touches.

I agree with Grad that with a real struggler, it's often too difficult to do QUALITY tickling without bondage. If you use too much strength trying to restrain the person, there's little left over to tickle--at least not for long. If there is, it frequently becomes very difficult to apply a strong force in one regard and apply a "feathery" or tickling touch in another. (You defininitely do NOT want to hurt your lovely 'lee!. 😉 ) I've noticed this problem especially when tickling feet. (Also, without bondage, a violent struggler/kicker can do some serious damage to a 'ler. Then playtime will be over! LOL)

Also, if you're not a big horse of a person, then trying to hold onto and tickle your 'lee lightly is virtually impossible. Forget about tickling a neck or ear. and lightly tickling feet is 100% out if there's no bonds. Also, you're more likely to make tickling painful to the lee because if he/she is trying hard to get away and you're still tickling sides or ribs, you're going to end up digging in pretty hard. I've had complaints about that from female friends. I mention that their frantic squirming makes it hurt and if they relax and let the tickles happen, then it won't hurt! Well, a few have tried relaxing and found it to be much more fun when they don't struggle as much. Even still, that's the catch of tickling. If you're ticklish, you can't HELP but try to stop it in some way or another. Therefore bonds are better for us non-brutes! (no offense)

Piping in on the side of the stronger women (although I'm not that big) - bondage is a must. I'm *really* good at grappling (which is what tickle fights really are), and I'll win every time if I'm not tied down.

I'm also one of the kickers, so that's another reason to have to break out the cuffs.

On the 'ler side, I'll really go either way. Bondage is fun, but overpowering someone, holding them down and tickling them until they snort is a lot of fun too 😀

As a fan and practitioner of bondage, I'd have to go with my 'lee being tied up. However, I'm not at all adverse to the occasional tickle-fight. Overpowering a free individual has some powertriptitude all its own. (Again...I can make up words if I want)

I always thought someone HAD to be tied for merciless tickling to take place...then I met TTD. Lemme tell y'all a little something about our beloved Mr. To Death. This guy is about, what...5'3"? All muscle and raw power. Kinda like a compact linebacker. When he flipped Patty over and pinned her on her stomach...that girl wasn't going anywhere.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier, safer and more convienient to have the lee tied down unless of course you have help pinning the lee down!😉 .

Tickle fights/wrestling is another story for short term tickles.

Okay, there is a certain excitement to just holding someone down and overpowering them... however, as a female, I don't get to do that too often.. a good tickle fight is great too.. But overall, I would have to say that we made a very good investment in cuffs for wrists and ankles.. I don't get beat up so much anymore (in a manner of speaking)... 😀
