Unable to log into chatroom

I should've brought this up ages ago, but I am unable to log into the chatroom. I generally use Linux and Firefox, but this same problem happens with Windows.

For reference, my Java is up to date.

When I try to log in, the pop up window doesn't pop up. I checked my pop up blocker and it's not blocking it. When it does pop up, it always has the room as empty (even I'm not listed as a member in it).

Does anyone know of any way to fix this? Thanks.

Sometimes the chatroom just takes forever to load. I remember one time I was waiting for about 10 minutes or so.

I suspect I know what your issue may be, and Crystal has it. Is this what you see when you finally get in?



If so, give it time. I had to let it sit for a good few minutes before it made the "happy chat entrance" noise and started showing the lobby. Patience, it takes, for Java is slow as molasses dipped in Gorilla Glue. Once it loads you'll see something like this:

It happens to me too, where the chat doesnt load right away. As HDS said, just wait a few for it to load, and it will. I have to do this as well.

Ah, that may be it. The window doesn't load in Firefox whatsoever, but it does in IE. I'll give it a try later.
