Unable To Make Vid Caps

I recently reinstalled XP but can now no longer get any vid caps using Print Screen for either DiVX videos or Real Player. I'm ok with Windows Media Player.

I lost previous directions to correct this.

Can anyone help.

Some media players don't do well with the PrtSc function. I imagine you get a screen cap with a black area for the player, yes? You may need a separate and specialized screen capture program to get this. Download.com is a good place to search. Beyond that I know little. ;_;
