Unexpected, real-life “tickle” word mentions

For me, it’s always fun when a normie female utters the word “tickle”, “ticklish”, etc. Nothing earth-shattering, but I always think, “oh, if she only knew…”

I work for a large professional company, and polished appearances are important in the culture. Recently we had a reorganization, and my team changed. A new co-worker, Carrie, is now on my team and someone I’ll work with closely. I’ve admired her from afar prior to this, as she’s sharp and also an absolute smoke show. She’s in her 40s somewhere, and just perfectly together. Blonde hair, fit and also super outgoing and cheerful all the time. If I had to describe what celebrity she resembles, I guess I’d say Charlize Theron.

Anyway, earlier this week we were on a video team call and Carrie said she hadn’t heard back from a client, and she said she was going to “give her a little tickle”, which of course meant she was going to shoot the client an email or send her a text, etc. But she made the wiggling fingers gesture when she said tickle, and at the end of the call she said it again, and again wiggled her fingers.

Normally, this would not even be worth mentioning here, but now I’m intrigued. She’s so outgoing, so nice, and a little flirtatious, TBH. I don’t think it’s directed at me personally, it’s just in her nature. I’m fairly certain if I brought up her use of the word when we are together, along with its literal meaning (haha), she’d engage in a long conversation about it.

Anyone else love talking to a hot vanilla person about tickling besides me?

It definitely gets my attention.
I used to work as the overnight baker at a well known Canadian donut chain. We were open 24 hours, but at Christmas time, our store would close early in the evening on Christmas Eve and reopen early Boxing Day Morning. I was working the overnight a couple of days after Christmas when one of the early morning employees I was friends with arrived. We'll call her Janice. We were chatting before Janice's shift started when completely out of the blue, she started telling me how, before the store opened on Boxing Day, another co-worker, and friend of Janice's had pinned her to the floor and tickled her mercilessly for several minutes, seemingly for no reason.

Then, at my next job, I twice had one co-worker expose another ones ticklishness in front of me. The first happened as a co-worker we'll call Charlotte was standing at the punch clock, waiting to punch in for her shift. One of her friends walked past and playfully poked Charlotte in the side. She jumped and said "Hey, that's my tickle spot." Her friend grinned and replied with "You have lots of tickle spots." Charlotte looked embarrassed and said "I can't help it."

The second time, I was on my lunch break when two other co-workers, we'll call them Deb and Rona, walked into the staff room. Rona was bugging Deb about something, and Deb just said "Just remember that I know you're ticklish now." Rona didn't say anything else and unfortunately they were behind me so I didn't get a look at her facial reaction.

Ha, I notice it for sure. An author i listen to on audible uses the word "ticklish" often when refering to a tricky situation. So much so that i think he may be one of us.

My gf said it the other day about something, talking to a friend and I thought it was hot af.
