It had been kept very quiet that Tom had either been fired from Alan Hell's firm, or that there had been a "mutual decision to part ways"
Then if that was not enough, Alan told Ross that Tom had been sued for negligence by Alan's firm, and for malpractice by clients at Alan's firm.
Basically, Tom's neck was in a noose. His license had been on suspension, the suspension had been removed, and now the suspension had been reinstated, with a possibility that Tom could be debarred.
Alan wanted to meet Ross the next day, to sign papers for Ross to join a large lawsuit against Tom.
While Ross did not like to "Celebrate" the misfortune of others" , Ross could honestly say that except for Tazzio, Tom was the worst person who Ross had ever met in the professional world.
Ross came back to bed with a smirk on his face, and Kayley opened her eyes.
"What's the look for? What happened?" Kayley asked.
"Alan Hell just told me that first Tom was fired by Alan's firm. Then, literally just after Tom had started a job at another firm, Tom was sued for negligence and malpractice at Alan's firm. I have to go over to see Alan tomorrow to join a class action suit against Tom. As the cherry on top, Tom lost his new job at the other firm" Ross said, getting into bed.

"Only that Tom made my life so fucking miserable with anything Alan Hell and I tried to do. When I tried to reorganize the marketing campaign to bring in more business for their firm. When I wanted to sign a bunch of people up to a deal that would be mutually beneficial for Alan, Tom, me and RFS Energy. ts almost like, "The Bull Has Been Dishonored" Well, Good" Ross said, kissing Kayley and turning over to go to sleep.
Ross threw on slacks and a polo the next morning. Kayley had already gone to work. Ross jumped in an uber, went to the office, and ran into the secretary.
"Ross, Alan Hell is waiting in your office. He said he needed to talk to you about something very important" Ross's secretary Ashley said.
"Yes, we do need to talk. Hold all calls please , Ashley" Ross said.

"Good morning, Alan" Ross said, putting his briefcase on his desk.
"Ross? Dress Code? You are working with millions of dollars of my money. Is this how you dress to meet a client?" Alan said.
"Mister Hell, if you have a minute, please step outside so I can change into a suit in my closet" Ross said respectfully.
Alan grinned. "It's okay, I was just kidding., However, the papers I have for you to sign are no joke" Alan said, handing Ross the suit against Tom for Ross to sign.
Ross looked at the papers, and signed them.
Ross handed them back to Alan, and sighed.
"This all could have been so easy. Why did he have to exert his power over one office, and fight us every step of the way?" Ross asked.
"Personality and arrogance, Ross. Now, he's gone from our firm, he was fired from another. He is getting sued, and he may be disbarred. He created his own problems. Now we will see if he can get out of it" Alan said.
"Right now my concern is us and our personal and business relationship" Ross said.
"Lunch today?" Alan said.
"Yes, Shun Lee, one pm, if Timothy calls, I will tell him that you and I are in an important meeting that does not involve or concern him" Ross said.
"Good, see you at one" Alan said, leaving Ross's office.
Ross went to John the account manager, met with John in Ross's office, approved what John had finished of Timothy's work, and then called Timothy.
"How was OKC?" Tim said.
"Anemic, but it does not matter. Other things are going on" Ross said.
"Lunch today?" Tim asked.
"I cant today, Tim , sorry. Must have another important meeting on something that cant wait. How about tomorrow?" Ross said
Ross worked through the day on RossShell work, including for new clients which Alan Hell had recommended to him, which Ross knew he needed to service himself.
As Ross was pounding away, focusing on real RossShell work, Ross was beginning to realize that while he loved the OKC trips, that it was becoming not good for him to be an absentee CEO. Ross also thought that maybe it was good for Kayley and Ross to have breaks from each other periodically. Yet, Ross might now need more frequent Doctor's appointments, so Ross thought maybe he could not pull his disappearing act as often as he was.
Ross left the office at 530, and got home in his Uber at 630. He kissed Kayley hello.

"Kale, the medical diagnosis made me realize something. I'm beginning to think that maybe I was using the OKC trips to run away from Timothy and the craze of the RossShell office to play with the boys. I'm a CEO of a huge company. I've tried downsizing and I was miserable. I'[m thinking I just want to keep RossShell as is, have my account managers work on things and report to me. I work on the major accounts like Alan Hell, Timothy if John needs me, etc, and no matter how antsy I am, I go to OKC no more often than once every three weeks, so some months I go once a month, and some twice a month. I dont know if this is the right move, but you and I have sparred so much about how I beat myself up. I dont work the hours that I used to here in New York because of the big staff in the RossShell office, but I know that I'm gone a lot" Ross said.
Kayley smiled. "That sounds like an excellent idea for yourself, your health and our marriage. Bravo!" Kayley said, kissing Ross on the lips.
"Now as to the day. I had a meeting with Alan Hell. I signed papers to join a huge lawsuit against Tom. The whole Tom situation is going to turn into a shit slinging contest between Tom, Alan Hell, Alan Hell;'s firm, and me. The Tom situation almost reminds me a bit of the Tazzio situation, although probably less personal, and less violent. I'm meeting Timothy tomorrow for lunch, but hopefully that will be calm" Ross said.
"Knowing Timothy, he will find some way to piss you off, but dont worry about that until tomorrow. Tonight, just worry about me" Kayley said, undoing her shirt and pushing her bare breasts in Ross's face.

With each account Ross approved, and Kayley's summer vacation coming, Ross was thinking of taking a vacation with his partner, maybe to Europe.
When Ross got home that night, he discussed the subject with Kayley. "Teacher. How about we do something really fun, ditch this town over your summer break for two weeks, and go hopping in Europe?" Ross said.
Kayley looked stunned. "Are you feeling, okay? We've only been there a couple of times in twenty five years. Mainly just to say we were there" Kayley said.
Ross grinned "I'm fine. Remember? Lifestyle change? We will look at the calendar, figure out when you finish, and then say, a week in London , a week in Paris, and maybe something else. I think we both need to get out of here for many reasons. This has not been a good year" Ross said.
"Okay, with it being just past my Easter Break, let's decide by May 1st, and leave around July 4. We will come back in the July 20s range Kayley said.
