Update! - Empress Azalyn Goza the 16th (The Irresponsible Captain Tylor)

Well, its time for another update.

Update-

- Created album for the Irresponsible Captain Tylor in the Photos
section.

- Added 1 picture of Empress Azalyn Goza the 16th.


- Also added the picture to the Files section.


The picture is of everyone's favorite (at least my favorite) little
empress, Azalyn, asking for a foot massage from her new 'pet', Paco-
Paco ( Azalyn's nickname for Tylor for those that don't know).

For fans of the series and especially Azalyn, I'm sure you'll be
pleased with this one. Not only is it my first time drawing this
character, but it is my first time ever coloring one of my anime
pictures. So I'm sure you'll enjoy it for this reason also. 🙂

For would-be critics, I'd like to point out that this is not only my
first time coloring an anime picture of mine, but its the first time
I've colored anything period in the last two years. So if my
coloring skills leave something to be desired in your opinions, I'd
like to point that out.

Anywho, enjoy the picture all. And as always, comments, questions,
and concerns are always welcome and appriciated. And don't forget to

And I know, thats why I said "would-be" critics. I'm pretty confident about how I colored it.

I like the way the tones and texture of the feet turned out too. The colors give her a fleshy feel, making her realistic, soft, and cute. 🙂

Great job. You did a nice job coloring her. I adored her cute feet. The highlights in the hair and eyes were a nice touch. She looks very realistic.

@ critterlord- Thank you. And there certainly will be more pictures. When I start into drawing from specific series like I have been I usually intend to have at least 3 pictures of any single character, whether those pictures be regular barefoot pictures or tickling. Aside from my regular artwork, which there isn't much since this is taking up alot of my time, I enjoy being as throrough as I can be with pictures. Azalyn tickled? I think that would be perfect. It would defintely go well with this picture. And being who she is would make the picture more fun.


@ rajee- Thank you, I'm glad you like it. I'm glad I was able to do well in everything, being that it is a first time drawing of the character for me, and the coloring had to be considered also. All in all, I'm happy and pleased with the way it turned out. 🙂


@ TheChosenSaiyan- Thank you. I'm glad you like it, and I'm glad it turned out so well. As far as the second sentence in your post, thats a really nice complement.....thank you. As far as your skills are concerned though, its never too late to start. I myself have only been drawing anime style for about a year collectively on and off, and only since october of last year have I started drawing like this also. I'm sure that if you applied yourself, you could reach new heights.

Oh, there will naturally be more colored/coloured pictures in the future. I didn't buy these supplies just for one picture. Although, I won't be able to color every picture in the future. That would be too much work for me and would delay my updates further. So what I'll do is color the pictures I most feel like coloring. Color definitely adds a vibrancy and life to pictures that black and white cannot. However, in some ways I prefer black and white over color, as I feel more can be done with it by way of shading. Just like with colors, you can express many more values of tone with black and the different shades of grey.

One more thing I almost forgot, I used colored pencils if you can't tell. I only recently bought them, but they have many colors, and one that is probably my favorite is "blush pink". And its the perfect color for me, since I draw the characters either blushing a little or a lot. It just adds so much cuteness and charm to the characters, the situation, and the overall picture. 🙂
