Well the difference there was that the Zeiram movie was still a Japanese flick, not made in america. So of course they'd be more interested in keeping it faithful to the anime. I hear tell the Matrix team wants to take a crack at a live action AKIRA movie! I already know thats going to be a steaming pile. I mean, Akira itself was pretty damn confusing to begin with since they crammed an entire comic series into one movie, who knows what they'll do to this one......god...Keanu as Kaneda....ROFLMAO....
