Upgrade The Forum

Not sure if this the appropriate forum for this discussion; if not, then I apologize.

A while back, there was some discussion from Jeff about making some upgrades to this place. Was anything ever done?

I like the place the way it is. There are some minor issues I have with this place. The only things I would change is the UI, which is very outdated IMO. And I don't like that I have to wait for 30 second intervals if I'm trying to run searches throughout this board.

Did Jeff ever open a patreon account or open a paypal account to allow people to sponsor and finance any changes? IIRC, He pays for everything out of pocket. So it's not like I have any right to complain about something that is completely free to use.

I did open a Patreon, the link is in my sig 🙂

We are about halfway to our first goal which will pay for an upgrade to the forum, which I agree badly needs a better UI.

Also I've reduced the time between searches to 10 seconds, which should be a lot more tolerable.
