Was curious if any one does that. No examples of what technology one may use or what one has downloaded. Whether its a Scrubs Season, Porn (And yes Tickling vids), or a PC game. Especially the latter since that has become a hot topic for the PC games Spore and Crysis Warhead due to some not agreeing that EA has installed DRM on those games.

Myself. I've used several, but not "maliciously" though some would adamantly disagree with this. And I do buy the media if I like it. So company's continue to make their great products.

Thanks for any feedback/input.

Yeah I agree. I mostly due patches such as the PC game "The Witcher" as that is edited here in the United States. Look into getting an external hard drive. 500 GB are 130 USD or even cheaper if you shop. Such as newegg com

500GB at Best Buy this week for $94. $89 at Office Depot. Often, newegg is NOT the best deal. Their specials aren't as deeply discounted, plus you have to pay shipping anyway. So where's the savings?

Plus, I hate having to wait on things. If I'm spending that much cash, I want to go pick it up myself.

Nice tip/research

Best Buy is where I got my Seagate external a year ago for 130. I do like newegg though. for some things. especially if your building a computer, the CPU and Video cards CAN be cheaper. Theres also a Microcenter where I live (there also online) that i like to go to and they are very comparable to newegg if i'm looking for more specific parts. such as a CPU cooling fan setup.

Thanks for the tips as to where you found those prices. Be getting a 1 TB before long. some to backup work, but they tend to turn in a juke box LOL

Peace!

Video cards. Jesus. Don't even get me started. A guy can't find a card for less than $175 these days. To get something with any decent capabilities will run you $250.

For a gorram video card! I remember in 1995, I paid $25 for what was at that time an excellent graphics accelerator! VESA Local Bus, 16MB VRAM, True color! Oh wow!!

Now it's all just "Hey, ours has a higher model number!! Pay us another $75!!"

Damn I miss when things weren't so expensive!

VESA local bus! Ah, the 486 era!

I haven't shopped for video cards recently, but I'm thinking that unless you're processing full-motion high-res video or are running fairly complex games, a pricey video card might not be necessary.

As for torrenting stuff ...concert bootlegs, IOW stuff that isn't available commercially.

Yeah those video cards lol. I agree with you whole heartedly "the jimmy james" I got a 8800 GT Superclocked and it runs everything i through at it..even Crysis lol on high. the new ones though were 500, but that's too much. Mine should max or come close to on games for the next year. but the ones you mentioned were for great games. I.E. Fallout, Starcraft, Diablo lol Which are coming out again. An 8800 GT is 130 or so and will run anything. 9000 series just isn't new technology. And with the damn pirating we,some, me, be playing crappy ol xbox 360 for next 100 years lol Far Cry 2 looks good. And CPU'S are for another day... If any one wants to start. such as OCing to get a much better one. but i ramble. have a great day all! And don't cheap on the PSU!! Sorry = )
