Using Public Domain Characters for Your Tickling Stories/Artwork/Videos

For those of you who enjoy creating fan works of well-known characters or franchises, and in some cases, commercializing them through the doctrine of transformative works (consult a lawyer when doing that), did you know there are many other characters or franchises which are often overlooked? In case you never of the term public domain, its a situation where the copyright and trademark of an existing work either expired, never existed, or were purposely waved by the creator in order for other people to use them freely. What's interesting is some works in the public domain now aren't that old, as shown here through a wiki called Public Domain Superheroes: https://pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Public_Domain_Super_Heroes While it does mainly focus on superheroes/superheroines, it also allows all kinds of characters who are in public domain. Lets go ahead and revive these older characters!
