I hope you enjoy it. We had a good time putting it together. We're really on the ball now. FTKL has told me that issue #7 is completely drawn, so we're on schedule.

Now for some VU news: It's just my luck. There's good news and bad news. The Bad news is we have to get a new artist on the Julie McGee Adventures in Time project. Shan has the chance to do some mainstream work so it has to come first. I wish him the best.

Okay, that's the bad news.

The good news is FTKL has really been kicking his schedule into high gear so he and I will be the regular team. I will still be taking the stories in different directions with my own flair, but the art will remain the same.

Bearing that in mind, Issue #7 of VU is next then we'll do a Adventures in Time Pinup book before we start the new series. Our goal is to get something out about every 6 weeks. A big change over last year.

This was a very fun project. Hopefully the upperbody and tickle-gadget fans will appreciate the changes and the new scenarios.
Issue #7 should be inked within the next week. Look for a cover by months end (all I'll say for now is 'The Countess in chains'). We'll pick up with a hot little scrap between Ruby and Mistress Cat, we'll find out what happened to Madame Koo, and Nina LaFoote will become a potential menace to both the Red Feather Gang AND Koo's Tickling Brigade.

Hi folks,

We've has some people ask about content on the pinup book. There is one anticipation pick (which is still tasty) and 9 action pics of tickling. Each page is a full page splash with little dialogue to get in the way of the art. It's a hot book! More powerful a set of images than regular issues of VU (and you know how much action we try to cram into every one of those).

Any pinup book that we do will be tickling-action driven. The work justifies the price. Even in a 10 page book (which we're sticking with from now on) there won't always be something on every page. There will be in the pinup books. Each book like this will be 10 full splash pages of tickling or teasing with very little dialogue to get in the way of the art.

The up coming Julie McGee Adventures in Time pinup book will be laid out the same way. 10 full tickling illustrations with no meat by-products or soy bean meal!

The VU source book will be a little different. A lot of people have asked for better access to the bios etc on the characters in order to better keep up with the whole project. That book will feature new bios, gaget illustrations and new tickle art, but we won't put a full price on it. It's just going to be a fun book to have.

We feel by now people know what to expect from us. We're very much aware of what kind of book we're putting out so we try to cram as much action or teasing into every issue. We've also has some input from fans that want to see more build up to action, so there will be more teasing shots along the way. Does that mean less action? No, it just means we have to cram more good stuff in 10 pages.

Page count is another point I want to bring up. Since FTKL is goint to step into the artist's seat on the Adventures in time book, we're gong to keep ourselves on a tighter schedule. With that said we're going to be keeping issues to 10 pages. Every extra page keeps us further away from starting another issue.

We're also going to keep ads down to a minimum and just show the upcoming cover. That's for a variety of reasons. Most of which is speed. Artistically we're a two man team. We now have two books that we're going to be keeping up with and we don't want a repeat of last year where we only got out two issues. That was nuts and we're really sorry about that.

It's going to be a busy year and we're really going to have to keep our noses to the grindstone to stay on track. I can promise you though that everythiung we do will be as tasty and as action packed as we can make it. We just don't want to over-hype it. When the day comes that we really start taking short cuts , leaving the fans shorthanded 🙄 we'll quit doing it.

Some truly wonderful artwork here! FTKL and BZTickler have outdone themselves yet again. I must say the "anticipation" pic was in fact among my favorites. Also, I very much enjoyed the artistic decision to enhance Madame Koo's figure in Pinup #8. Or could we never see it quite that well before because of the dress?

Libtick, my apologies for not getting back to you for the online chat. As you can see, between two books and touring as a swordsman, I've been a bit slammed. I have been sick ever since November. Got medical bills and the like.
And next tuesday I have to have the first of two laser eye surgery's
done. So guess where my money has been going???
DIABETES SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I hope that answers your question, and I didn't get offended by it or anything. I did orfer VU 6 today and its coming in on my email now.

I didn't mean anything by it. You're just usually one of the first people to order. You've always been one of the first to be there with support, and believe me we're grateful for that.

I understand fully about the bill situation. We're stuill trying to pay off a hospital bill from this past year. Health wise it's always something wrong to deal with around here.

I hope the lasic surgery goes well. My eyes are too unstable for it, so they turned me down. Trifocals don't help much for reading so I've pretty much given that up. Let me know how things go with the procedure. I've heard from some friends that have had it and that it can work really well.

Take care of yourself first and formost, and like I said i didn't mean anything by it.

Issue 7 is drawn and will be inked shortly so we aren't too far away.

As for the operation; I have a lot of medical types in my family. I went down to Duke Uni. Hospital to see a specialist and they said they couldn't do much for me right this sec. There are a lot of new options and I've been reading some lately on that new process where they implant a plastic cornea into the eye itself. The main thing is make sure you pick someone who damn sure knows what they are doing. Check around and research them on the web. It's worth it.

Thanks for the update. My mom had to get a kidney trnasplant, thanks to diabetes, so I have a notion of what you're going through. You're in my prayers, too, man. BZ and I both appreciate you being there for us.

VU #7 is about 1/3 finished, as far as inking goes, and it's outstanding. You'll love it. Til then, take care and stay tuned.
