Ah, well, I'll vent.

Ramadan is a rough time of year, I swear. Religious conviction, can't eat or drink from sun up to sun down, dang it, and I've got work.....I've been antagonized by people all day, I'm sooooo exhausted, and damn it....there are too many socked feet out there!!! They're teasing me this year I tell you!!! TEASING ME!!!!!!

And no, the venting never helps me...sadly....

Wasn't sure if you were talking about in general, or about a specific event.

I can't really speak about "venting with anonimity". Most people I know know who I am, how to find me...I'm pretty open about things and the extremely thin line between my online "me" and who I really am is so blurred it may as well not exist.

But venting does help at times. Formulating your thoughts into words, regardless of the repsonses you might even get. I guess it depends on the type of venting. Venting to express things in your life that are bothering or troubling you is one thing...venting just to bitch about things that are already online issues and relatively meaningless is quite another. 🙂

Venting is fantastic if you can put a productive edge on it. It's pretty clear to some that in certain topics I don't restrain myself, but I think about the things I say before I say them. I'm very passionate about certain things, and also very passionate about helping my fellow man. I feel like if humanity breaks past certain barriers, we can lift ourselves beyond what we've accomplished, unify as a species, and begin to accomplish even greater things.

That in itself was mini-venting I guess. 😉

It's nice to vent...but i'm hardly anonymous either...unless you mean that the internet is anonymous in a way...hmmm....i can be far too open for my own good however...i remember Myriads once told me in a pm to view the forum as a bus station or subway ride...he said would you shout out all your personal stuff to them? it was hard to view it that way however...as out of alll the members both here and there, only a handful really posted...so it was like talking to a bunch of friends online...

I don't usually bother to vent online, although I might bounce ideas around with people via PM.
