Vices.

Hey all,

Just wondering what people's worst vices are, and whether they're bothered about them.

I drink far to much Coke. I try to cut down but I'm not very successful... Ever dropped a penny in a capful of the stuff? Nothing strips a penny faster!

I think posting the definition may help some people evaluate themselves better for the purpose of this thread, even if they already know the definition. Having it played back to you can/may help in being more forthcoming...or not. This whole thread and it's success boils down to trust and being able to trust everyone here with your vices. 🙂

Well Snail Shell got it right first time, didn't he? If you don't wanna post then that's alright - no sweat off my back. I'd like to see posts, obviously. But I'm just curious and making conversation.

For the anal folks amongst us: Oxford English Dictionary - "a bad habit."

I quit smoking a couple of months ago, so that's not a vice anymore...but it was...

Well since i turned 21 my vice has quickly changed to beer and i haven't had the internet since decemeber so lately i've been making up for lost time here and the mousepad.

P.s - it's not so much a bad habit, but I'm an absolute sucker for Malteasers. I'm just so weak! I can't open a bag and not scoff them all like a little greedy bugger. Ah well 🙂

I smoke so much, that it takes about an hour for my lungs to clear up in the morning so I can breathe well enough to run around and do Chameleon-like activities. But, I'm workin' on that whole quitting thing, one cigarette at a time.

Hmm my vices are Vodka, Caffeine-especially when I'm at university.Diet Coke,and something really random-Tayto crisps-you can't get them in many places in England as they are Irish crisps,but everytime I go over to Ireland I have to come back with some Tayto crisps.lol.(I think they taste better than the likes of Walkers)i'm also quite an untidy person--however I keep things tidy when I'm at work,but at home my room looks like a bomb hit it more often than not.lol.so I usually end up having to tidy it up once a week to stop my parents whining at me.lol.

Just occured to me...

Thanks to everyone for posting so far - this must be my most successful post I've ever done, and I've been here for absolutely frigging ages!

F.L. Atlanta just reminded me there, with that comment about a fantasy world. I've just introduced a mate to World of Warcraft...

Now THAT was a bloody vice, when I first got into it, as it was to many other people I know. You stop eating properly (have to make sarnies and stuff so you can still eat and keep one hand on the mouse and your eyes on the screen), it's terrible!
