Sorry folks, I have a cat attacking me while I try to type this, so if there are any really bad typo's, I apologize. Also, this may be a violation, if so, I apologize, if the moderator would please move it, it'd be appreciated. Thank you.

Alright, now onto business. I'm aware that currently, everyone is using Aimster as the download center for most of the vid clips everyone wants. And from personal experience, I can see that it is extremely popular and working very well. Whoever originally came up with that idea, I applaud you. Great heads up thinking.

Now, onto my suggestion. Those of you unfamiliar, there is another type of system out just like Aimster called "KaZaA" (www.kazaa.com). It's user friendly just like Aimster, navigation through it is easy, and understood by the older generation (using the "Kids are better with computers than parents theme there 🙂 my apologies if anyone's offended).

However, there is one slight difference which makes me believe that Kazaa would be the better alternative. Say for example, I have a file up for sharing with everyone. Well, it turns out that MTPJeff also has the same file, as does Yaqi and realtickling (aka, the lovely Kathy). It's the same thing...same name, same title, same size, everything is the same. While you may choose to download the file from Jeff, and you'll end up downloading bulk of the file from Jeff, you also have the chance to get bits and peices of the file from the rest of us, thus giving you a faster download time and less "repeated" files (unlike Aimster, where you may see the same file listed 8 times with 8 different people). I've used Kazaa for several months now and have gotten numerous things with no problems using the "download from numerous people with the same file at once" thing (sorry, don't know technical terms, I failed CINS).

This is just my suggestion. Again, if this should be elsewhere, feel free to delete it and repost it and notify me, and please accept my apologies. Also, this is a suggestion, not a demand. There is a money back guarentee (cost's nothing, don't like it, get nothing back. 🙂 ) Have a great day everyone!

i remember going to "tickling beutiful women," the site has loads of tickle vids, there was one that i saw and loved, it had a blonde and a brunnette, the blonde got tickled first, then the brunnette (without her bra) the his guy called black tickles them both at the same time, cool vid.:wow:

here here!
kazaa is certainly the best system i have found (recommended by out i.t. consultant, even)

good call!🙂

I agree...kazaa is an excellent alternative....i especially like the fact that you can resume and resume from someone else, something aimster lacks, why don't we start putting up kazaa screen names....mine is kjp555....that'll make it easier to search for files among fellow tickle community members rather than a bulk search.... good idea ferret

What about Morpheus

I'm currently using Morpheus; it has the same "get from many" technology than Kazaa; What I'm not sure is if those two are the same, or share the same files 😕 . I haven't really found out too much tickling in Morpheus, but it may be my searching technique what is failing...I don't know.

The answer is important because I'm currently sharing like 100 Foot related media files (MPEGs, RP, VClips), and maybe some on the forum may want to check 'em out, what do you think?

So please IT gurus of the TMF, give us your peace of advice: Kazaa, Morpheus, or are they the same with different names? which one's better?

Thank you, Thank you very much

f*ck Kazaa

I say Kazaa sucks. it's a piece of crap, for real. aimster's better, and even aimster sucks.

Morpheus to the rescue...

Kazaa and MusicCity (Morpheus) are run off of the same system, to answer miglan's question.

Personally, I find Morpheus to be quite possibly the best file transfer program I have ever used. With it, I have managed to download the entire running series of Family Guy, most of the Futurama series, several Buffy episodes and a variety of other things. The one problem with Morpheus is the fact that nobody from Aimster wants to switch over, so therefore not all of the same files will be found. If everyone would just take the few seconds out of their lives to download Morpheus instead and use that, all of the same tickling files would become available. See, the problem isn't with Aimster or Morpheus. They don't supply these files on, like, Morpheus and Aimster servers. The files are exchanged between users. The arguments "you can't find all the same files" or "my searches don't return the same amount of results" are invalid. It's not that "Morpheus won't find the file I want", it's that "nobody wants to switch over from Aimster to Morpheus." In all honesty, folks, Morpheus is the better choice. I've had about a dozen files queued up on Aimster that have been "busy, waiting 60 seconds" or whatever the delay messages are for a couple of months now. So what if you can find more files w/it if you can't download them?

Also, once the wave hits and the files are spread around, the downloads will come from multiple users and speed (not to mention availability) will increase exponentially. Sure, the 'pickins' may be slim at first, but wait until everyone starts passing this stuff around.

Aimster, I have found, is very slow, doesn't always search properly, has about a 4% success rate in terms of actually downloading the files I pick to acquire, has a shitty user interface that's a mess of windows and programs, etc. Morpheus (KaZaA) has an organized interface, returns results, ping times, file sizes, resolution, bitrates, additional information, etc. on the files it finds, returns quick results (and displays them as they come), and actually downloads the files selected for download. Even if you have to leave it running for a while, it'll eventually find an opening and begin downloading. Unlike Aimster, with which I've been waiting a couple of months for it to actually download some of the files I have queued.

Listen to me, people. Switch over to Morpheus. Make it a point, a New Year's resolution. I say everyone should jot it down somewhere to download Morpheus or KaZaA by, let's pick a date, January 5th. The problem isn't with the program, it's with the people. Everyone has to be willing to switch over in order for it to work. Trust me when I say that it's a much better system for file exchange than any other program I've ever used. If you want to be stubborn and cling to your Aimster that's fine, but you're missing an opportunity here, people, and basically shooting yourselves in the feet in terms of the problems with hosting and space everyone's been having.

Morpheus by January 5th. Make sure to remember, everyone. Revolutionize our system of media transfer. You'll thank me for it, trust me.
