I began positing tickling clips online in 1994. Lots has changed since them and lots more still needs to be changed IMHO. Looking at how many people post preview clips I thought it might be helpful to breifly discuss a few options along with their pros and cons.

This info is neither exhaustive nor comprehensive, but rather it is simply informative.

1. Video clip attachements - These are simply wideo files attached to messages such as in the TMF forums.

Pro - These videos can be easily downloaded to your computer and played back without having to access a website, adding a sense of permanence to them. Please note that you can add 5 video clips to a message, each one being up to 4.86 MB.

Con - They must be less than 4.86 MB. If the clip is 1 minute or more, video quality will likely be compromomized.

2. YouTube - These are videos uploaded to youtube.com.

Pro - They can be seen by the largest potential audience which can lead to healthy traffic back to your site (eg. Clis4sale.com). They can provide really useful statistical demographic info which can help you refine your content to suite a target rich viewing public. For example, here is some statistical info on one of my video previews on my 'current' youtube account:

CAP-UTube2.jpg

Recent improvements in youTube.com allow you to have higher quality video playback. You can either provide links of youtube video in messages like this (Click HERE to see my video preview) or embed the video directly into a TMF (not Tickle Theater - since they refuse to add this functionality) like this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JTnKVrUvNvc&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JTnKVrUvNvc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Please note that I have intentionally NOT linked to a tickle video in a TMF message since that would likely get the video deleted from youtube.com. Hmm, yummy, eh?

Con - YouTube will likely delete your videos and delete your entire account if a uder-prude, one of your model's over protective boy friends or a jealous competitor clicks the Flag icon to report the videos as inappropriate.

On youtube it is always important assume your account WILL be deleted. Always get a Director's account. Always use the multi-file uploader. Always be prepared to do it all again by simply using a different email address 'when' your account is deleted. I'm on my 5th youtube account now.

BTW, when a video in unavailable on youtube, try changing http://www.youtube.com to http://uk.youtube.com since they update those servers later. You just might catch the video before it disappears.

3. Myspace.com - These are videos uploaded to your myspace.com profile.

Pro - These videos (as well as youtube) can be embedded in your blogs, comments, forum and group posts as well as embedded in TMF posts.

Click HERE to see my video preview or embed the video directly into a TMF message like this:

<a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2179099">Ticklish soles?</a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=2179099,t=1,mt=video"/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=2179099,t=1,mt=video" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" /></object>

Con - Though less annoying than youtube's morality police nonsense, be prepared to ultimately have several of your videos deleted by myspace and your account deleted as well. I'm on my 3rd myspace account now.

4. LiveVideo.com - These are videos uploaded to livevideo.com.

Pro - Unlike youtube and myspace, these videos can be labled as mature and are vetted for acceptability of content before the admins make them live to the public. As a result, I've never ever had a video deleted. These videos can be added to your myspace, facebook and TMF messages as links

http://www.livevideo.com/video/tickling/6C20D6F29D1D4C61AFFA7BF430460685/ashley-grace-hogtied-tickling-.aspx

or embedded video.

<div><embed src="http://www.livevideo.com/flvplayer/embed/6C20D6F29D1D4C61AFFA7BF430460685" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" WIDTH="445" HEIGHT="369" wmode="transparent"></embed><br/><a href="http://www.livevideo.com/video/embedLink/6C20D6F29D1D4C61AFFA7BF430460685/720657/ashley-grace-hogtied-tickling-.aspx">Ashley Grace Hogtied Tickling 2 - Preview</a></div>

Additionally, all of your favorited videos can be presented as a video jukebox player as you see at the bottom of all of my messages. This video jukebox can be added to the top of your clips4sale.com page. See the top of ShyAndWildTickling.com for an example of this.

Con - Not as large a viewing audience as youtube or myspace.

5. Revver.com - These are videos uploaded to Revver.com.

Pro - Sporting most of the features mentioned above, this method also allows you to download a quicktime version of the video to your hard drive and splits the advertising revenue with you 50/50. So to put this in simple English, you the producer gets paid every month for people to watch your free video previews which advertize your clips4sale.com store by Revver.com simply splitting the advertising reveneu caused by your viewers watching your video previews for free. Please do not let this one get past your era lobes. I get paid every month by doing this for the past 2 years.

The video quality is high comparared to Youtube and myspace. You can add your logo to the video player to promote your brand. Like LiveVideo, Revver vets the content and labels it as 17+, 13+ or no lable at all for stuff that's acceptable for all to view. Revver and LiveVideo will reject content that's too close to or over the edge, but their eyes seem to be liberal. I've personally had 112 submissions and 7 rejections, and those were in their earlier more conservative days.

<script src="http://flash.revver.com/player/1.0/player.js?mediaId:1039232;width:480;height:392;" type="text/javascript"></script>

Con - Not as large a viewing audience as YouTube and Myspace. Cannot be embedded or used in any way on myspace.

I hope this has provided some info to help our community of video producers. This kinda info just wants to be free.

Please note that you can add any number of embedded videos in a message.

There are many many other options out there, too many to mention. But I'd highly recommend that you also look into a solution born from one of producers at http://ticklingtv.com.
