yup, im playing dark cloud one right now. i played true crime, but i still have to buy it. i own soul calibur 2 for cube, and i think it is theb est fighting game ever. its ooo good. mario kart i wish to try, and im still playing metroid prime. i own at melee, and wish to rent viewtiful joe. i beat mario and luigi superstar saga, and got tired with golden sun.

im really into warcraft 2 right now.

I'm playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (beat it 5 times, and this time I will get all the special items.) and Banjo-Kazooie Grunty's Revenge right now.
I play Warcraft 3 the Frozen Throne, Samurai Shodown 2 and some arcade games in my computer.

I'm gonna buy a GBA SP and a GC with Mario Kart soon when i have the money.

Currently, I've been playing a lot of Red Faction II on the XBOX, but I've also been hacking various games on that system as well. It's pretty fun being able to play a Legacy of Kain version of Hayabusa in DOA3.

Crystal Chronicles is also a current favorite of mine; I even have two GameBoy Advances hooked up to my GameCube to use the menus on.

eight months later im playing smackdown vs raw, awaiting halo 2 next week. Still playing ff online for ps2. i tried star wars battlefront but the lag online is terrible and no split screen with system link...bad.

How can you honestly play Final Fantasy, and PAY MONEY FOR IT MONTHLY? That's one of the worst series of games I've ever played. I pray for it's demise....

It's not that bad but, it IS over rated. The FF series -to me atleast- are not the best RPGs.

*sigh* I hate FF; the old school ones were great, mind you, but the series itself is crap now. They hide behind good graphics, and thats about it.
More to the point, I currently play FF11 (I Happen to like MMORPG, and its one of the better ones out right now =/), and Im going to be starting American Army again soon.
And, I play Final Fantasy Tactics and Chrono Trigger every now and then; tactics, because its original, CT, because its the greatest game of all time.
Etc.

Hiya all! I've been lurking around these forums long enough! Time for me to make a post! 😀

Lemme just say (sorry, off topic I know) that all of you guys here are GREAT, this whole community has made me feel a lot more comfortable with my interests. I really feel at home here. 🙂

Anyway..

As a hardcore RPGer, I felt I needed to say something. Yeah, the new FF games really make me cry. In the bad way. I absolutely LOVED FFVII (FFVIII and IX were alrite too)...but, it kinda went downhill from there...ah well, I played the games more for the music; I'm a bit of a music nut.
But now that the FF composer Nobuo Uematsu is leaving Square-Enix......well, time to abandon ship, I suppose...

Hey, has anybody played Kingdom Hearts? With the whole Final Fantasy / Disney crossover? What did ya think of that???

I heard another key FF guy was leaving the company as well.
I've never played Kingdom Hearts but I've seen it on tv and, even though Disney sucks ass, it looked really pretty. Is it on PS2? Maybe I'll pick it up used.

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts is on PS2. It's not a very difficult game to beat, though there are quite a few extras throughout it.
I got the game because I thought it'd be a Final Fantasy style game with some Disney sprinkled about, but it's more like the other way around.
There's several Disney worlds you're supposed to go to, and I guess it's interesting to see all these Disney characters from different places interact with each other (like...Donald duck and...Tarzan?).

The game's full of all these really REALLY saccharine scenes...haha but I guess the Disney logo on the game cover should have been warning enough, so I can't whinge about it.

Donald: You can't come along looking like that. Understand? No frowning. No sad face. Okay? This boat runs on HAPPY faces!"

ff online is as of now the best mmorpg. I dont think final fantasy is the best rpgs series ever. Chrono trigger is in my opionion of the greatest rpgs that square created. final fantasy is just the flag ship series. the money maker. Graphically, they are great, as for the game play. WEll yeah the series needs some tweeking.
