Hi,
I'm looking for a little technical advice from the community on filming. Specifically, I've seen other producers, like Tommy at Tickle Abuse, put out what looks like great quality with much smaller file sizes than mine.
I have a Sony HDR-HC7, record with their highest quality Mini DVCs, and save my .wmv's @ 640x480, 2000 Kbits/sec, 29.97 frames/sec.
A 5-minute clip for me is about 85 MB. I can save the clips with higher quality - HDV or HD - but they're twice the size and many customers have trouble playing them.
Any videophiles out there have ideas on how I might improve quality for the same or smaller file size?
