Although I'm not specifically against action against Iraq, I love the fact that things like this can still be posted in a free America. If you oppose this action, please feel free to speak your mind. As far as my own opinion goes, it's too complicated to go into here, as I rarely have a cut-and-dried reaction to anything, let alone war. So I feel little motivation to explain it here.

But I do thank you for providing an alternate view and a forum on which to respond. That's what will always be great about America.

Dave, I take it you're opposed to the erosions of our freedoms that Bush and Ashcroft and the rest of the scoundrels have brought upon us in the name of "fighting terrorism." I always wondered how not being able to sue Eli Lily & Co. constituted fighting terrorism.

Yes, it IS good that we can find places like this to express our opinions. If I find a similar site that is in favor of military action, I'll post that as well. I think all sides should be both heard and listened to before any action is taken. And, as I just stated in another thread on the topic, I'm sorely disappointed in the administration for what looks like lies to scare us into going along with them. Tell me the truth clearly and I'll respect you (whether I agree or not). Play games with me and you lose my respect and trust.
