I was just hit by this virus.

Trojan Horse SHeur2AJRC

So far, I haven't found too much help online in terms of removing it, and I thought someone here might has suggestions. I also wanted to post this to make others aware of it.

You can goto to www.wilderssecurity.com . Its a free site and lots of people there who know lots about viruses and malware can offer tons of great suggestions.

I am not sure what virus software you have. You can get packages from virus companies designed to eliminate specific threats. I would see if Nortom, Mcafee, Eset, or Kapsersky have such a package for this virus/trojan. Hope this helps.

Facebook Viruses....

By any chance tdo you have facebook.... ther eis a file going around that come in am email from someone on your friends list. I got it the ot3ehr day and even with the Latest Corp Norton for servers it snuck something in. I am hoping tonight that I finally ridded myself of it but lots of folks on facebook are getting Hit with it. Let me know if there is anything I can do. I do this for a living

Reflexology, I dont know what anti-virus software you have, but, once you remove the virus, I would recommend going to Avast.com, and downloading the free Avast Home Edition. Avast scans your computer constantly when it goes into screen saver, and has detected and removed several viruses from my computer.

a Trojan FAKEALERT or is your antivirus point to either your Windows/System32 folder or your System Restore Folder?

The Windows 32 popped up about 40 times in the scan results. I'm now online, but without a Start button or program menus. I did a dirty install of Windows, and that seemed to quell some of the virus activity, though I'd bet that I'm not clean yet, and I cannot install anything.

If it is and you have been ruuning your machime anyway, th eonly solution would be to wipe and reload windows.. just save your data first because this one affects programs not files per say. try loggin onto

If you cannot get there then the only other way to scan it is to remove the HDD from the PC and add it to another machine as a slave and scan that way. Let me know

It didn't go. I've got Mozilla and it only works with Internet Explorer. I'll see if I can get it going, but it's not looking good at the moment.

Look for program folders called...

XP-Antivirus
XP-Antivirus 2009 or 2008
Win-AntiVIRUS 2009..


Remember.. Windows does not make antivirus programs... Let me know if you find any
