Here lately at the good ol' TMF, it has been tough to voice your full opinion without getting ragged on a bit. I think that all of us here at the TMF should be able to say whatever we want. I for one, am gonna say whatever the fuck I wanna say, and if the moderators dont like it, delete the post. I will not be pushed around by moderators with a big head (kujman)......that is all. :sowrong:

When you pay to keep the forum up you can say whatever you want.. But when someone is doing personal attacks and starting crap with name calling, a cyber fight will break out, and nobody wants that on here. so Mods will delete it and should. If I were a mod I would also delete any personal attacks. KUJ thought deleting a few post would prevent that, I agree with him.. But he should not of made his post then locked the topic, that is the only thing I don't agree with.. Now can we just drop it and move on people? No need to go around in all the forums making the same post and jumping down KUJ's throat who is a good guy..

$$= right?

Nah...paying merely gives you the ability to set the passwords...without people you have no forum Sandman, and I know you've been around long enough to realize that with this many different strong personalities, there's going to be..issues...at times. The point is, a Moderator needs to be held to a different standard than a member who posts, and that thread didn't meet the standard of behavior in many members of the forums minds. Many of us expressed that opinion, some more vehemently and profanely than others (I guess..I didn't see the deleted ones), and we have now entered a period of cooling down and review. Not the first, won't be the last time, but the forum is all about expressing views, not judging them.....discussion is one thing, bold statements are yet another. This too shall pass, and things will cycle once more. You (sand) have been throwing up some interesting thread topics lately, and I'd hate to see that stop, or anyone else hesitate to try some because they're afraid of the controversy...my 3 Canadian cents. (been traveling...😉 ) Q

And it's nice to be able to go back in and edit your posts, but I bet some members have the original copied and pasted somewhere...just a footnote. Q

everyone should have a voice

Krokus, you are right-- ALL OF US here should be able to say whatever it is we want to say, inluding Kujman. Expressing an opinion is not pushing people around.

As to why he got the boot, I think we are owed an explanation. Kujman offered much to this board by sharing his technical knowledge and experience with everyone. He took a lot of time out to participate here, to promote the intelligent exchange of ideas and information about tickling. That IS what this board is supposed to be about, right?

I for one liked coming to TMF because of the no-flame policy, which Kujman kept intact. He did his job as moderator very well, and I'd really like to know why he, one of the first moderators, is suddenly not allowed to do it anymore...

Everyone Should Have A Voice

A few years back, I channel-surfed onto one of Slick Willie's "diversity workshops" on CSpan. It was about what I expected. The panelists were university professors, journalists, think-tankers and other members of the chattering classes. They included Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, men and women (maybe gays and lesbians too - I didn't stay long enough to find out) and all having identical left-wing views. Talk about a sterile discussion! It could hardly even be called a discussion, more like a self-congratulatory circle jerk.

Express yourself! Try to keep it civil, but don't worry about someone having his feelings hurt. This is a DISCUSSION forum. Anyone who doesen't want to risk their ego should join a sewing circle instead.
