VU Contest is over!

Hi folks,

I just got off the phone with FTKL and we've made a decision. We mulled over our stack of several entries and felt we not only needed an overall winner, but also a runner up.
The winner will have his or her character worked over in issue 5 as well as getting an original sketch of her getting it by the VU character of choice.
The runner up will also have his or her character worked over in issue 5.
We're in the process of sending out congratulations by e-mail. As soon as we hear back from the winners we will post the descriptions here.
We both want to thank all our fans and a big thanks to all the entries. We got a lot of good ones.
Basically it came down to what we personally thought was a good visual, interesting character, and one that could easily be placed in our story line. We had to go with an entry that had some interaction with a current VU character without being so involved with the history that it would demand a re-write. When the dust settled we feel we picked a couple of cuties. (At least in our opinion; and you know what they say about opinions 🙂)
Well it's back to work. Congrats to the winners, and thanks for all the entries and the support.

Now I'm waiting for both issues 4 AND 5! I'm sure these characters won't disappoint. I'd have sent in an entry, but my drawing sucks and I was too lazy to use what little imagination I have! 😀

Congratulations to our top winner!

Steve83's entry was "Jessica" a waitress at the local Buffalo wing sports bar. Mid 20's blonde with a Bettie Page hair cut. Killer rack with big blue eyes and a small tiger tattoo on her left shoulder. It seems Julie McGee needs to test out a machine and she's hooked on the wing sauce. Might as well kill two birds with one stone. 😀

Our runner up was Longbaugh for his entry "Coffee Shop Waitress"
"Rain" is Hispanic in her early 20's black hair with red ends. Black tank top with tight blue Jean capri's.

What can we say, Julie hates bad waitresses and she's a really bad tipper. Give her super service or there's a pair of stocks in your future.

If we have time to do a characters sheet for them we will, but I seriously doubt it. FTKL is working on another acting gig, and I'm burried with freelance and classes through to the middle of November. We'll be doing well to get the next issue out by the end of the month. We'll wait and see.

Both characters will show up in issue 5 though.
