What's up? Where are the zombie lovers? The show comes back in a couple of days. It's my absolute favorite show, and there are threads about it on most of the forums I'm on. I didn't see one here, so here you go.

I'm looking forward to it. I recently watched World War Z, and tried REALLY HARD not to compare it to the Walking Dead, but I couldn't help but be disappointed. I can't wait to see how this new "colony" works out, as well as how the Governor is faring with his two henchmen on their joyride.

LOVED WWZ, but yeah if you compare anything zombie related to Walking Dead, you'll be disappointed.

The only thing keeping my attention on this show other than my obsessive love for zombies would be my strong desire to have Darryl Dixon pin me to the bed frame any day of the week. Or every day for that matter...

Haha agreed with candy girl Daryl is something else 😀. I'm also really excited for this season. Not everyone liked last season but I thought it was pretty good. Looking forward to seeing when the governor makes his appearance again.

I think most women (and some guys) have a strong love for Daryl... he's the stuff fantasies are made of, good lord! Plus he has that hot/angry/brooding thing going on that just makes me want to tickle-molest him until he smiles. Haha I'm watching him on the marathon right now and drooling. 🙂 I think Tyrese is really cute and sweet too.

Re: World War Z... I thought it was good but still disappointing because there is NO WAY a movie like that should be rated PG13. I was pissed that they cut out most of the violence and made it "suitable for teens" as a way of trying to make more money. The film was amazingly done, but a zombie movie is one type of film that does require blood and gore. The film would have been way better had then just gone full-on gritty, the way Walking Dead does... zombies are supposed to rip people apart. It's supposed to be scary. I had a difficult time feeling any sort of fear or intensity during world war Z...Bu uhh...Brad Pitt's still one fine piece of ass despite getting older...so I'm not complaining. RAWR.

Other than tickling/S&M, I honestly kind of have a fetish for anything apocalyptic. I find the idea of no rules, no society, every man/team for themselves very sexy.

I like the show quite a bit. But I don't subscribe to Cable or Satellite TV. I'll wait for it on Netflix.

One character I do not like is Lorie. She seems like such a toxic bitch to me. But I've only seen the first two seasons. Maybe she thaws out later.

I hate her too. Can you be any worse of a mother? My favorite part was in season 2 when they're exploring the area where all the cars are broken down on the side of the road, and there's dead bodies and possibly zombies everywhere, and she yells at Carl "Stay within my sight!"

Within your SIGHT? Yeah, that will help a lot when you see a zombie take a chunk out of your son from 20 feet away. My kid would be glued to my hip and going nowhere in that situation.

Great show, and one of my favorites! Last season didn't end the greatest for me, but from all the previews I've seen for Season 4 it looks like it will be amazing!

I thought the premiere was amazing. I really enjoy the whole little town/community vibe compared to the gang of hardened survivors vibe. I've always been attracted to off-grid communal living stories. I like seeing people work together in that way and watching the interesting social situations that arise. Although, it looks like some seriously bad shit is going to happen so who knows how long their little town will last.

I have the biggest crush on Michonne. God, that girl is sexy. My boyfriend doesn't find her attractive at all, which just blows my mind. I think she's too "manly" for some men, but to me, she's perfection.

I'm getting annoyed with Daryl/Carol. Are they together or not? JUST SHOW US! GOD! It's been three seasons of teasing us with this ship now...it either needs to happen or not, at this point. *annoyed*

Interested to see what's going to happen with Tyrese... I have a strong feeling that his little girlfriend is going to end up dead within an episode or two... Mark my words!

Did anyone else notice the way Daryl licked his fingers right before shaking the kid's hand and then went BACK to eating with his fingers? I'm scared that he either has the disease or is a carrier who is spreading it. Then again, there was also a sick pig...

Looks like this could be the best season yet. I thought two was great and three was a little weak...I'm hoping this one blows my mind.

The ep. last night was great. I'm really liking this season so far. The last season was my least favorite out of all of them so I'm happy to see them taking things in a new direction now. I got sick of the whole Governor vs. Prison thing, although I'm sure the governor will be back. I think the threat of random flu and other sicknesses in a world without hospitals (and where anyone dead will come back to life and eat people in the night) is FAR scarier than some asshole with an eyepatch and an assault rifle.

The bad thing is, the sickness is so violent and deadly that now I feel like none of my babies are safe. If Daryl/Maggie/Glen/Michonne dies I'll break my television, I swear. lol

Oh, and watching pigs get hurt is not okay with me. I'll watch people die any day but animals get me pissed. That said, I get why they did it. Although I think the strategy would have been more effective had they set the pigs free to run and lead the walkers out into the woods versus just feeding them the pigs.

I also pondered whether or not it would have been better to let the pigs run. Honestly, I think Rick made the better choice crippling them, though. Pigs run fast, and I think the walkers would have lost interest, when there's slower humans at a closer range. Much like everything else in nature, the walkers go for the easy fruit.

However, there's something that bugged me that I'm still confused about. At what point does a walker lose interest in the body it is eating, for that body to rise up as a walker, but that same, bloody flesh is no longer appealing? I don't understand why many walkers aren't eating each other.

I've wondered about this for a while. At a certain point, you would think that enough walkers would devour a person completely and there would be nothing left to become a walker. I guess that's what happened to T-dog last season. They just found him all nasty and I assumed he'd been too eaten to be a walker. That was the only explanation I could come up with anyway, since they didn't explain why.

But like you said, why do they sometimes lose interest?

I love WD too. Even if a little different from the comics, which is great too. I find Darryl one of the smartest characters of the series, and I also appreciated his brother Merl. Too bad he died. Regarding Rick, I agree with helplessandhappy, he is really really lame (quite different from the comic).
Speaking about the women of the series, I recognize Michonne might have some appeal, but what about Andrea? Too bad she died too, I found her so sexy (including her bondage at her last episodes).
Looking forward to read more on this topic, I find this Walking Dead quite addictive, and I've seen it several times.

Collect the trades and watch the show. Both are a little different but still enjoying it. It would be cool to see what's happening with Carol. Maybe she will form an all women group, that actually might make for an interesting spin-off Amazons of the Walking Dead lol.
