When Ross awakened the next morning, Kayley was dressing for work, kissed Ross goodbye, and left.

Ross then called Vic. "Good Morning, Vic! How are you? Good! I'm studying something and need to do it at home where I can have quiet. I will definitely be in at 12. Please be there when I get in. I need you for just a brief conversation, then please just go about your business. Don't mind me. Thanks" Ross said, as Ross hung up
It was approaching 11 am. Ross showered, and dressed in his "Work uniform" Blue blazer, tan slacks, white shirt, and loafers, with a tie in his pocket. Ross texted for an Uber, went downstairs, climbed in, and tried to stay calm. Ross rode in silence to the office, with his cell phone firmly in his hand, and closed his eyes, hoping for quiet on the thirty minute ride from Queens to Manhattan.
When the Uber dropped Ross at the office, Ross went upstairs, said hello to everyone, and then slowly walked toward Vic's office.
"Ross, come in and please sit down. You look,. troubled" Vic said.
Ross sighed. "Good Morning, Vic. I am more, very concerned, most importantly for you, but also, about this company which you and I met that guy about" Ross said, in a low, almost sympathetic tone of voice.
Vic also sighed, went to his office door, closed the door to the office, and then went back to his chair, and faced Ross. "I know. Something looks, "Not Kosher" as they say in Jewish" Vic said.
Ross sighed again. "Vic, there's something else. Steve needs me in OKC ASAP. I did not go, because I was having some troubles with my stomach which Thank Heaven feel better. I was going to leave in two days., I could try to buy us some time with this company we are looking at. The problem is, that we both know when I go to OKC, it can, and likely will, last anywhere from three to four days, with at least two days of shows, with the unknown being if Steve and Fritz show me an energy company which we have to meet people on. Since you and the other account managers in the office basically keep RossShell going now, and I am little more than basically a "Senior Adviser " with my name as CEO on the company and on the door, I have to leave this as is for the best of everyone. My health, my marriage to Kayley, yours and my personal and professional relationship, and the good of the other account managers and their work. I vow to myself that I will not screw up how we finally have this company running as it should have years ago, just because of one "dicey deal" No deal is worth that" Ross said.
"I have an idea. Maybe, just maybe, I can call these people, and tell them that since this is a new account, I need some financial advice and or legal advice from an independent source, to see what the best way to run this deal is. Then, if you can, please call Mister Alan Hell to see if he can recommend another attorney to examine this for us. We both know that such will only take a week to ten days, and that by then, you will be back from OKC. Its the only way which I see we have a chance with this deal. If these people say no, we pass on the deal. How does that sound?" Vic asked.
Ross reached across the table and bumped fists with Vic. "It sounds like what Ross should have been doing all of these years if I had not run this company, and our business interests together so recklessly. I will contact Mister Hell myself, and send him these papers, and a detailed description of both yours and my concerns. Somehow, he can and will recommend an attorney in this city, which we can work with on this!" Ross said, smiling broadly at Vic, and opening up the door to go back to his own office.
Ross went to his computer, e-mailed Alan Hell, told Alan what was going on, and then texted Alan, and told him the sitution. Alan wrote back. "Contact Mister Ben Krafton, and tell him the following. Please tell him that you are sending these papers to him via FEDEX, and send him a detailed e-mail of the situation. I'm certain, somehow, he can give you some form of an opinion, and or at least, buy you and Vic another week after you get home from OKC." Alan's email said
Ross then wrote to the main desk at Mister Krafton's firm, and explained the situation. "Yes, Ross. Alan Hell called , and told us your situation. Please FEDEX us the papers. We understand that you will be going out of town. Mister Krafton will definitely have an opinion of what he would advise you to do within no more than a week" Ben's secretary wrote back.
Ross replied. "Thank You for your cooperation"
Ross went to the front desk, got a FEDEX envelope, wrote it out to Mister Krafton, took Vic's evaluation, and Ross's own, of both what they read, as well as Ross's and Vic's impression of the meeting they had with the man who had given them these papers. Ross left it at Ashley's desk, and it would go out to Mister Krafton. Ross then went back to Vic, and said. "Okay, done. Now we just go about our business, and it';s a wait and see. Oh, and by the way, in addition to what you usually do, please don't let this allow you to spoil your confidence even if it does come up jokers and devils and we have to pass. If you want to keep researching and recommending new sources, discuss them with me, and meet with anyone, by all means, please feel free" Ross said.
Vic smiled. "Thanks, Ross. Maybe we can work this out, but even if not, I'm sure that I can find us some source, company, or account that will be viable for us to take on"
"I will see you later. I leave in two days, so , I will likely be in for a brief day tomorrow, and then the next morning, it's off to fantasy land. Alan gave us the name of a good independent lawyer named Ben Krafton to examine this situation before we do anything. I sent Ben the paperwork. While I'm in OKC, Ben will examine it, and then when he's ready, he will give us his opinion. In the meantime, Ross will spend his remaining time at home until I leave, with the Teacher whom I love so much, and then I will go off to OKC to play with the "Good Ol Boys" Ross said.
Ross and Kayley ate pasta that night. They managed to make love., After it was over, Ross said. "Ross, I am over the moon with joy with how RossShell is running for you. You have managed to keep Charles Harton, and even take on a couple of accounts which he recommended to you, without dealing with him on a day to day basis other than an occasional phone call or meeting. RossShell is running as it always should have" Kayley said.
Ross smuggled with Kayley. "Kale, I was telling that to Vic just today. I'm not worried about this deal. If we get it, we do. If we dont, Vic will undoubtedly find something else that is more feasible. I told them that he has free rein to examine and show me anything he wants, and if need be, he and I will meet with whoever we have to, jointly to concur on our opinions. " Ross said.

At 4 am, Ross, who had already packed, awakened, showered, dressed, kissed the half sleeping Kayley goodbye, and climbed in his Uber to JFK to DFW and then OKC.
Ross's flight took off at 830 am. He changed planes at DFW, landed in OKC, hopped in an Uber to the office , put his suitcase in his own office, and then greeted Steve and Fritz.
"Gentlemen! My two partners and good friends, how are you both?" Ross said happily.
"Good to see you, Ross" Steve and Fritz both said, both bumping fists with Ross.
The three men sat down, their iced teas in their hands.
