Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd pass this information on to you. Beware if you are a paypal customer. There is a scam circulating via email. I rec'd an email tonight which looked like a legitimate email from paypal. It contained their logo, a lot of site information, even a privacy notice. The email stated paypal was looking for updates on their inactive accounts (I haven't used my account in months, so initially it made sense). However, they ask you to login via a form in the email, asking for both password and account information. This didn't seem legitimate. I called paypal, and it is indeed a scam to get your bank account information and password.
Don't fall for this! Most legitimate sites will never ask for your information via email-this is why I was suspicious. This really really looked legitimate at first glance, so I wanted to warn everyone.
