Was There A Post Level That Took You A Long Time To Get To, And Seemed To Drag?

I guess this question can be for any post level, but maybe it applies more to those at higher post levels.

Did any forum members find they had a particular posting level, that seemed to drag, and take what seemed like the longest time, to get to?

For me, that is the 20,000 post level. For whatever reason, it is taking me seemingly FOREVER to get to 20,000 posts. I'm still more than 300 away. Granted, due to my three plus month relative hiatus this summer, my posting average has dropped from about 6.4 posts per day, to its current 5.8 posts per day. I TRY to average at least six posts a day minimum in the silly stuff forum, to keep my posting average up. Lately, I've been mostly able to do that.

If I make six posts per day, I will probably be at 20,000 posts by early Feb, unless something unforeseen happens.

So, thats the question: Have any forum members found that a particular post level, took them forever to get to?

I didn't even think I'd get to 1000, but now I'm at 2. Which sucks, because my feather is a hideous shade of orange.

The good news is though that by 2019 I'll probably be at 3000. 🙂

It seemed to take me forever to get from 90,000 posts to 100,000. Since then, it's been all downhill.

Even if I was with the TMF for the rest of my life, I doubt I'd ever reach 100,000 posts. For me, 25,000 will be a lot.

I was going to start a long diatribe about "quality versus quantity", then I started re-reading some of my own posts and ....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...Now where was I? Thanks to all from Mils to first post newbies. I hope everyone will post from the bottom of their heart or in the P&R FORUM, from the heart of their bottom.

Georgia mentioned quality vs quantity. I confess, that.. for whatever reason.. there was a point that I started piling up posts in the Silly Stuff forum. Now, as I said in my OP in this thread.. I try to post 5, 6, 7, things a day in the Silly Stuff forum, to maintain my posting average.

I figure I'll be at 20,000 by the end of Jan at latest. Hopefully by my bday, depending.
