I thought to myself I feel compelled to comment on recent events, yet I did not want this to be another thread which turns into a flame war. I have to get to work on a "Anti Flame Shield" now that I have the "Anti Suck Shield" 🙂 . What do I say and how to say it without provoking so much ire and I remembered a song by Fatboy Slim called "Weapon of Choice" part of the lyrics are below:

The world was polarized by 9/11 though things were heading in that direction even before. I feel its just that this event crystallized the world in my mind. We have been so consumed previously with gender, race and other unimportant things. The color of one's skin is determined by a chemical known as melanin. It is only that a chemical it does not measure ones courage, or ones intellect, or ones compassion. Neither do all the other petty things we have been arguing over whether it be religion, gender, or ethnicity. The real differences my friends lie as simply as this good vs. evil. I feel events are here and the time has come for all to choose sides, no more fence sitting. No I don't think the world is going to end anytime soon but the quality of our lives will surely be determined by the choices we make now. There is the key word CHOICE the ultimate weapon we all have hence why I thought of the above song. We can choose to be good or evil it is our free will to do so. Saddam's regime has shown itself by past and certainly recent events to be one of pure evil but I will let you make your own decision on that. Be careful who you side with though for evil is often tricky. As for me I feel our country, the US, is good and I feel the best thing that ever happened to this world and I make no apologies for feeling that way. Again I will let you make up your own minds on this for I do not want a flame war.
