Greetings phreeks and phriends!

I finally got my computer up and running again today after two months. Still don't know what happened, but it's done. My comp-genius cousin came over today, we swapped out my hard drive, replaced a bunch of shit and I'm in the process of reloading all my years of files (read: porn) from the old drive. Via USB port, so I've been at it for several hours already.

Anyhoos...I'm back and happily so. I haven't had much time to dick with the computer over the last couple months...having been busy doing a roofing job for my uncle before the snow flies...and dicking with my truck as it goes through its yearly "I Feel Like Breaking Down" phase. Brakes went...had to replace all of the lines from the ABS unit back, which meant dropping the gas tank and needed to do brake hoses as well. Then, my water pump went. Replaced that...still over heating and not leaking. Only one place the shit could be going, right? Yep...right into the engine. Head gaskets. So, my uncle and I decide to tackle that job, tear the engine apart, get everything ready to go back together with all new gaskets, bolts, rings...not to mention the rods that needed to be replaced...

...only to discover that both heads are cracked. AND...8 of the 12 rocker arms on the camshafts are shot. So, this project has now become an engine rebuild job. One fuckin' thing after another these past two months.

For those interested, Wild Card Radio will be back on the air this week, and Sarah and I are very much looking forward to reconnecting with our loyal audience. Nice to see you guys again and thanks for keeping my chair warm and free of cat pee. 🙂

Thanks pholks, I appreciate it. If nothing else, this last couple of months has put a lot of things into perspective. Things that are important, things that really don't mean anything...and the discovery of the true Zen of Automotive Mechanics....more on that later. 😉

Having some issues with BTR and accessing my account, but I'm working on it, so as far as I know, the show's still on for this week. Having been down so long and reinstalling a new XP version, Windows is downloading a ton of updates, and I have to reload all the shit that needs to be dowloaded...Flash Player updates, all my non-Windows players, go through certain settings and all that shit. Time is scarcer than it used to be these days. 🙂

On the TK front, while my machine was down and couldn't open IE, I could still access my files and programs for the most part. So, I did spend some downtime working on some new artwork which I hope to share with you guys soon.

Dave has a wombat? What's it's name? I'm just curious what you came up with, or what it's previous owners called it (on the chance it's a rescue pet).
