To Elaborate
It’s strange. As we grow, change and improve who we are as individuals, as much as people say, they don’t care what others think of, its strange how we turn to others for affirmation of our success. I aspire to become a master teacher. Others would like to be or are already considered masters of their profession, but in this arena of tickling; there are those who are highly acclaimed as masters. How does this happen? How do you get there? What is a Master Tickler?
I know to become a master teacher; I must have years of successful teaching experiences. I must have the support of my peers and I must be a model as to what and who a true teacher should be. I must also be working diligently to do more and become more. Master teachers are constantly adding more knowledge, more education… the seminars… the workshops. You can’t just be the best, you have to work at it, and give all that you have to others so they may also obtain what you have someday.
I see this… MASTER TICKLER of LALA… and Mistress DOM of LALA. I am not doubting or putting down who people are, or who they claim they are, I just want to know what makes you what you are, aside from the label.
Are you a master tickler because someone tells you that you are great? Do you have notches in your stocks as to how many lees you have broken? Does a Master tickler even have to break his lees? How is it possible to be a master of tickling when there are sooo many different levels and types of tickling… and so many new techniques, ideas, so many different types of lees? Who can be master of them all?
Is it he who has the most toys wins? Or does the vote go to the one who has the most extricate and elaborate bondage? How about the one who has the prettiest girls in his videos? The one who causes the most lees to release in some form or fashion, does that count? Do these things make you a tickle master?
And does being called a “master of tickling” give one the right to tell another that he or she is not doing the tickling the best way, the most effective way, and coolest way or *GASP* the RIGHT WAY?
In asking some of the people in the room their thought on the Master label… one gentleman said, “I would venture to say many people in this room are more 'skilled' than the general public in this particular act just because of our interest.
A master is also a mindset, an understanding of the mutual respect, and fundamental concepts of what is required to master someone’s submission.
Secondly there is the difference between a master (in the skilled sense) and a master in the BDSM/Ds sense.

If someone in my eyes were to be called a master of tickling, I think this someone should have the ability to discern what each lee likes or dislikes. This person should know how to make the lee feel safe and comfortable. This person should know just how the lee will react and make them react in the desired way. Instead of focusing so much on breaking and destroying the lee (unless that is what the lee wants), a master should do whatever possible to give the lee the most pleasurable experience he/she has ever had.
This master should listen, keep his/her ears open; the master should see, stay aware, alert; and the master should learn, never assume he/she knows all.
Maybe the master or mistress would not be so concerned with the title as what it entails, You know, keep growing, changing and improving, instead of spouting… NANANANA I’m a master! BOW TO ME MORTAL FOOLS! KNEEL TO MY WAY of TICKLING!
Truthfully... I will NEVER call myself a tickle MISTRESS... There are certain aspects of tickling I don't want to master or even deal with. And although I love tickling, I certainly do not put so much time into it that I become this model of excellence for my peers.
Who can say that they know all about tickling? Who knows or does enough to be called master? Mistress? Can one be exhaustive of tickling and know the answer to every question... the twist of every technique, like a feather bound concordance? I don’t know if anyone can. Can I continue to grow, change and improve upon my tickling style/skills. Of course.
