These are my favorite Christmas carols/holiday songs but in not any particular order:

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Winter Wonderland
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
The Island of Misfit Toys (from the movie Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer)
Jingle Bells
Frosty the Snowman
Hey Santa (Carnie and Wendy Wilson)
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
Jingle Bell Rock
Snoopy's Christmas
Baby It's Cold Outside

That's all I can think of for now. I just want to wish everyone a merry Christmas :xmas:, happy Hanukah :menorah:, and any other holidays! (I don't want to leave anyone out)

Mariah Carey - "All I Want For Christmas Is You"
Paul McCartney - "Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time"
Frank Sinatra - "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
Lou Monte - "Dominick The Christmas Donkey"
Augie Rios - "Donde Esta Santa Claus"
The Pogues - "Christmas in New York"

Celine Dion's Ave Maria
Oh, Holy Night... by anyone.

O Holy Night by Josh Groban
Rockin around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - by anyone

Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer
I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus
I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas

"Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" by David Bowie & Bing Crosby
"Mary, Did You Know" by Penatonix (well, anything by Penatonix)
"Redneck 12 Days of Christmas" by Jeff Foxworthy

If I come back and reply to this tomorrow, I'd probably think of all sorts of other obscure answers, but for now I'll say:

Phil Spector's Christmas Album - in particular Darlene Love - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is a stunning performance.

Roy Wood/Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day - I think through its overplaying it's become slightly underrated and underappreciated, people don't necessarily realise what a great musical arrangement and overall sound this song has.

Kate Bush - December will be Magic Again - magical!

Greg Lake - I Believe in Father Christmas - dramatic!

Song for Ten - Tim Phillips' version - used in a previous Doctor Who Xmas special, only mentions Christmas once, but has a real festive sound to it.

It Feels like Christmas (from the Muppets Christmas Carol)

In Dulci Jubilo - Mike Oldfield

Lonely This Christmas - Mud

In the Bleak Midwinter

Hark the Herald Angels Sing - complete with brass fanfares, exuberant percussion and soprano descant!

And of course the excellent Fairytale of New York is always extra poignant to watch/listen to in light of the talented Kirsty Macoll's death during the festive period back in 2000

If you're looking for something obscure try:

It's Cliched to be Cynical at Christmas - by Half Man Half Biscuit

"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by the incomparable John Lennon, slain 35 years and a few days ago by "the Devil's best friend." And trigger warning, the following is not a cheery nor timely video, but the original nonetheless:

(BTW, Xmas as used by many including Lennon is not necessarily pagan nor irreligious; it has a well-established and perfectly Christian pedigree.)

My favorites (I can't post YouTube videos in here anymore)

Bob & Doug's "12 Days of Christmas"

Love this movie! As far as I am concerned, Albert Finney is the only Scrooge for me!

Mariah Carey - "All I Want For Christmas Is You" ....My all time fav Christmas Song.. :snow:

Top 1: Carol of the Bells (Any good choir who can sing this properly in 4-voices and make a place shudder)

The rest, I go for very old, traditional ones like Ray Conniff Choir and Four Aces.

Oh Holy Night, doesn't really matter by who as long as they can hit those epic high notes.

Gene Autry's "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer", though a lot of times it makes me cry because it reminds me of my childhood, a lot of which I spent by my Grandparents' house. Damn, just thinking about it just now is making me cry LOL :sadcry:
