What Can The President Do Without Any Approval?

I was just wondering as to what powers the President has sole authority on; without any approval from Congress or anything like that.

I could be wrong but this is what I know:

- They can grant pardons to any federal prisoner.

- They can deploy the US Armed Forces to any location for a period up until 60 days. However they must notify Congress one day before said event.

Are there any more that they have sole authority on?

The President has some authority over the use of federal funds. I think that this is where the executive orders come in. The President can make recessed appointments, veto legislation, direct foreign policy.
