What do you do with your tickling material?

Hi there:

I have been wondering something...

Most people in the Tickling Community has not opened up to the world about their ticklish interests. However, they gather a massive amount of material that could range from video clips and magazines to full length video tapes and DVDs.

I have video clips that I have saved from several years ago (from TickleChicago times) that I have never watched again. Except today that I was cleaning up stuff and I noticed I had a lot of junk in my hard drive.

Hence, my question is the following:

What do you do with all this accumulated material? Of course mostly everybody hides it. So, when do you actually enjoy it? What happens to it after a few years?

Just wondering...

Thanks,

Knight Tickler

Well, I keep my videos and magazines locked in a closet. As for my computer's hard drive, I pray that I never have to bring my computer in to be repaired. 😎

All of my material is electronic, and I keep everything in a temporary folder buried on my hard drive. Then I move the ones I want to keep to an RW CD and delete the rest. Very discreet.

Stuff everyplace!

Hmm, looking about there are videos scattered across the floor and overflowing a video stand. I see a copy of Tales peeking out from a pile of magazines.

I have a dozen pics of the week in a file on my desktop....Not to mention lots of TMF html in various stages of finished.

Anyone who knows me well enough to come to my home knows my fetish 🙂

OK

I get the idea...

Some people hide their material and some other people do not care.

However, nobody has yet answered the original question.

What do you do with this material over time?

Do you keep looking at it over and over? Or is this more like I just want to know I have it just in case 10 years down the road I want to check a video clip from an MTP video?

It is basically similar to collecting comics... What do you do with them after you have read them (perhaps two or three times already)? At least with comics, you have the hope that they get valuable over time. Is this the same case with tickling material?

What is the purpose of accumulating 1.2 terabytes worth of video clips or 300 hundred tapes or 2000 magazine issues if you have to be secretive about it? I find it odd that I can only look at my material at the wee hours of the night or when the house is empty.

I think that if shared this fetish with someone in my household, maybe we could look at it together as if it were just another movie or magazine. In that case, keeping tickling movies and magazines is just more "junk" accumulation (the same as all the tons of books I have piled up all over 🙂.

Perhaps, I am getting into deeper grounds than I wanted to. Feel free to elaborate on the topic. ;-)

Thanks,

Knight Tickler

I know what I'd do with my old tickling media - yard sale. You can find all kinds of stuff at yard sales, so why not. Or I would try selling it on Ebay.

I have a bunch of old tapes I never watch anymore (mostly, it must be said, 'cause they suck) stacked in my closet. I keep meaning to review them and get rid of the ones that are really worthless, but I never get around to it. The tapes I do watch are in a cabinet under the TV. Since the only person who spends any length of time in my place is my fiancee, who knows about the fetish, secrecy isn't a huge concern, as long as the tapes aren't directly in sight when my mother decides to visit.

As for electronic media -- I keep that stuff in a neutrally labeled folder in my default "Junkyard" folder. I occasionally delete stuff I've lost interest in to keep things manageable, but the rate of increase is much larger than the rate of decrease.

TFTA I keep stacked on the bookshelf in an inobvious corner near my computer, so the covers aren't visible unless someone were to actually take one out and look at it. Fortunately, there aren't yet enough issues to make storage an issue. (Hey, Morandilas, THERE'S a merchandising idea -- decorative binder covers to hide your TFTA collection!)

I keep my videos under my tv and view then once in a while to bring back old memories and my hard drive has a fetish folder and I keep clips or pic in there. I'm not ashamed of either one of my fetishes..

Myself.....

I have 6 or 7 videos that I keep hidden in the closet.....when I tire of them, I will most likely sell them on e-bay.....thats about it!

I have alot of material myself. About 50 vids three DVD's and about 11 or 12 TFTA issues as well as a couple books on the subject. I just store everything in various places. I do not plan on getting rid of anything because what I'm tired of today I might really want to see tommorrow. I also consider the tickling community as a very interesting subculture. Who knows how much a TFTA issue, Femfeet's 'Nurse Gone Bad' or a MTP vid will be looked at 50 years from know maybe in a mueseum on fetish and sexuality. Just because it is not the norm now does not mean it won't spark interest in the future and could be worth a substantial value. Many things that are passed aside in their present time are often treasured long after their creation. Also this material cost a pretty penny and I don't plan on scraping it. I'm hoping I'll be able one day to tansfer all my vids to DVD/CD(for preservation purposses) via a terapen or something like that so my material will last me for a lifetime and I won't have to worry about tape degradation. It is important to remember you may never be able to get a hold of your material again so remember this before you scrape it or sell it. My tickling stuff is in my place along with all my scifi(Star Wars,Star Trek) stuff my posters,DVD's,CD's ect.. Just part of my collection of various things. I'm an eclectic individual. I also keep my TFTA issues and my Yenny comic in plastic comic bags with backings. Maybe one day I'll become the curator of all things out of the mainsteam(Although thats the farthest thing from my current profesion and I'll probably be near death by that time). Any thoughts. Also if anyone didn't know this keep your tapes away from speakers, the speakers speed up degradation. My friend left his 'Indiana Jones' movie next to his stereo speakers(he has a habbit of putting something somwhere and leaving it there for eons)and when we put it in to watch recently, it was toast.

I've always hid stuff (very poorly) in my closet but now that I live alone, I find that I'm pretty sloppy with it! I have over 150 videos and my hard drive is pretty clogged with stuff so if God forbid anything happens I've instructed alot of my friends (including my brother) which drawers to get rid of (they are actually marked with an X in pencil!) with the words "Believe me, you won't be interested." It's funny because I'm getting alot more open about it and I realize it's because I see so much more of it in the mainstream media and that EVERYONE sees tickling as sexy, it's just we find it even sexier (or more fascinating.....I would ASSUME we all find it sexy, yes?).

Yes I find it very sexy, and try to incorporate it into foreplay. On comical note I forgot to mention, I had videos at one point in time in a plastic bag, hidden under dirty clothes in my laundry hamper. Pathetic huh? Nontkl's comment on things to discard upon death reminds me of that episode of the 'man show' were Adam was run over by the ice cream truck and that company came to get rid of all the porn, sex toys and kinky stuff in is house so his parents wouldn't find out he was a pervert.

The late, great, stand-up comedian Bill Hicks also spoke of the dread he felt at the thought of his mother clearing out his stuff after his death, and coming across "The Porn Wing" of his library...

(In elderly Southern woman voice): "Oh, look at this photo of Bill in his Boy Scout uniform... Look how cute he was... Oh, my baby, my poor little boy... What's in this box?... What the... Clam-Lappers Volume 47?!?!"

Eerily enough, Bill knew he was dying of cancer when he recorded that routine...

Well Knight, I will try and answer your question cause I understand what you mean especially since the internet has opened up so many doors and availability. In the old days, anything was considered a treasure to hold onto...I still have all my old stuff just as a reminder to how joyful I was to find it. Even now, when I look through my old tapes and mags, it brings back that magic memory of discovering it and I remember where I found it and what stage of my life it was. I guess you would call that sentimental!!!!

These days, I rarely buy or download anything at all because I reached that stage to where if I am not involved in the tickling then something is wrong!!!! LOL

Once in a while though I will come across a clip or pic that moves me...either by the sound of the laughter or the expression on one's face. It has to move me bigtime...I then from time to time will view those downloads as motivation for myself or to just simply pop a big bonner!!!! LOLOL...teedoublehee 🙂 (there...someone had to say it...might as well be me!)

I guess overall, my biggest fear out of all of this would be if I died today, what would mom think??? Or my friends who don't share in my interest...but then again, why should I care...I don't have to face them anytime soon!!!! LOL
