what exactly is roasting?

now that i have gained some knowledge on bastinado, another think i was wondering about is roasting.....😕 😕

ok... Roasting is heating the bottoms of the feet through the use of a heat lamp or hair dryer. It produces much the same effect as bastinado by getting all the blood to rush to that part of the foot thus sensitizing them. I've found that very warm feet are much more ticklish than cold feet!

I've only had the hair dryer used a couple of times for me. Hair dryers can be kinda dangerous because often the heat not blocked by the sole of the foot will go to the ankles and it can really burn.

Heatlamps are just as hot but you can place them far enough away to heat the feet slowly without burning them.

Again though... Don't use the heatlamp unless you know what you're doing. Always use oil on the bottoms of the feet to keep the feet from burning or blistering. The lamp should be kept about 18 inches away. That allows the feet to slowly warm up. Keep applying the oil. The victim will probably get to the point of cussing at you screaming that they're being burned alive (and it often feels that way) so you have to keep an eye on things to make sure the feet aren't getting too hot.

Then remove the lamp. Count to 10 and just go to town tickling those tootsies. You'll be scraping the victim off the ceiling later after they stop laughing.

Warning... NEVER, NEVER leave the victim alone when you have the heatlamp on and they are in bondage. There is no way to get away if they are truly getting burnt. I have personal experience of trying to get away once only to end up with my feet closer and burning more due to the struggling. I ended up in tears with horribly sore feet for several days after someone left me for several minutes. Thus... I NEVER did or will do that again!

I truly don't know if it would work in those other areas. My gut feeling is that those areas are very soft and warm already so they probably don't need much help.

My feeling on this is that you should NEVER do anything that is potentially dangerous unless you AND your partner are greatly experienced in it.

And I agree with QB on this one. NEVER leave a bound partner alone for this. Come to think of it, you should really never leave a bound partner alone for ANY reason.

Interesting that you should mention that Dave2112.
I recently had a dream that some of my friends agrred to tie me up and tickle me....yada,yada,yada.....and then at one point they found itching powder and put it all over my feet and sides and stomach, and left me there to go see a movie! then I woke up😡 😛

Hi, to avoid the risk of a burning from hair dryer or heat lamp, why not just rap the foot or feet in really warm towels, or soak in warm water for a while? Just thought i'd throw that in to see what you all think. Feel free to email me @ [email protected]
