alt.multimedia.tk is a spam-free newsgroup that has helped bring the online tickling community together for about five years. (I'm not sure how long the TMF has been around; maybe two, including the old ez-board.)
The AMT is to TMF as tap water is to bottled water: no discernable difference in most cases except in the consumer's mind. 😉
On AMT you don't have to upload images and clips to a separate server like you have to here. You can say anything you like as long as it's about tickling.On TMF you can say anything you like about anything (see General Discussion) as long as you don't flame other members. Critical content is encouraged but has to consist of more than "it sucks."
A lot of the same people frequent both sites. Some TMF'ers consider AMT a mean, vicious place because of the flames. Some AMT'ers consider TMF a dull, boring place because of the moderators. Ain't it great that the tickling community is so well-represented online that we can have this kind of debate?

Actually, comparing AMT to TMF is probably more like comparing chip beef on toast to prime rib. TMF is anything but boring. Most of the time, the moderators do a darn good job of screening and preventing flames. The few things they screen like profanity, password trading and the like have no place on a quality tickle forum. I'm just grateful for TMF. Keep up the good work! 😎
