i majored in music..flute and beginning piano..i could also play the cello, percussion a bit, harpsichord.....

i don't recommend majoring in music unless you really like to teach it, or are really good at it..i was very good at the flute, but i got very tired of it..

i did teach private advanced flute and beginning piano for several years..but never played my flute in public again after 1984..for personal reasons..

what did you major in? and would you change your major if you could..

Animation. Classic animation to be precise -the 16mm celluloid-based thing. I graduated in 2005, however by that time 16mm film had already been rendered obsolete by the digital medium. I sometimes wish I chose another -more modern- school to study animation, so I could work in an animation studio or so... anyways I had a lot of training in my drawing skills, so it wasn't a complete waste of time...

Telecommunication. I wanted to graduate in less than 4 years, but that was a stupid mistake on my part. I should have stuck in a little longer and taken more advanced classes that involved more lab/practicum time. I'm still using my degree to some part, but not as much as I'd like... chiefly because there's a lot of supply for what I want to do, but not a whole lot of demand.

Nursing, Psychology, Law

Triple Threats, I'm going to work in a medical Law firm and then after about twelve years, become a teacher. So I'm not going to stay in one thing for very long.

I started in psychology and changed it to Computer Information Systems...I'm currently in a class that is mixing programming, psychology, and philosophy (Intro to AI engineering, it's a blast).

I am double majoring in marketing and management with a minor in econ. I guess I'm getting a lot outta college, or maybe I party too much. Lol oh well

majoring in animation, they've got us learning every single concievable thing to try to break into an animation career, 3D modelling, traditional mediums, digital mediums and animating on 3D and 2D, 2D animations using traditional and (mostly) digital methods like flash and toonboom.

I was a psychology major up till my sophomore year. I became a Graphic Design major in my junior year. Im a senior now, same major

My major is Business Administration. Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur instead of working for somebody else.

I got a Bachelor's in Rehabilitation Science...and while I LOVE where that path happened to lead (I'm a physical therapist)...I would have LOVED to go into Psych and specialize...become a sex therapist. I kinda do that in my own way now...and wish that I could do it full time, and get paid for it.

Plus, a BS in Rehab. Science without a graduate degree to go with it...plus $5 might get you lunch at McDonalds...

I have a Bachelor's in Geography with a minor in communications - focusing on print journalism. If were to do it over again I would either switch the two or doubled majored.

My major is currently Psychology ^_^
and I'm a freshie, so I have no idea what to expect yet lol

I majored first in psychology, then education, then sociology, but not having been able to complete a graduate degree, I have not worked in my field other than having been a substitute teacher. I would definitely go for something else, probably information technology security, if I had a chance to do it over.

my major...

i started out as a history major, but i've switched to anthropology. i love reading about history, but i suck at writing papers and i realized it's just a hobby, not something i want to do with my life. anthro, on the other hand is just as interesting as it started out to be!

hmm is anthropology the study of old things? sighs..if so ...neato..

i wish at times i had changed my major to either nursing, or archeology..specializing in ancient Eypgt...heiroglyphics (sp?)

I went to University to be an English major. Didn't finish it, however, because I ran out of money and into debt. It's expensive to go to University. 😵

anthro is the study of people and the way they live, and how they've evolved.

degree - Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)

major - Information Technology (IT)

Seems that everybody here has a mind intensive major...interesting...

First time around I was a Business Administration major and graduated with an A.S.

After that I was a History major and graduated with my B.A.

English.

I'm a big fan of the old-skool liberal arts & sciences concentrations with broad-based well-rounded curricula. Because once you've developed your ability to work with language and evaluate ideas, what can't you do?
