I have cable at home, but dial-up at work. Needless to say, I take a lot of work home. After having cable internet, I don't know how I enjoyed the internet before. I've also come to the conclusion that you actually save money with a cable connection. It gives you all the benefits of an extra phone line without the expense. Viewing it that way, the extra speed is free.

For me, cable traffic is very expensive - so I use modem for downloading clips & large pics, but prefer cable for serfing...

Nothing better than cable broadband! Cable vs dialup is like a Jaguar vs a horse drawn carriage.

Somewhat expensive, yes.
Worth it? Oh yeah.

I use WiFi Generally Sprint wireless Sometimes I will use truckstop wireless if the Sprint version doesn't have a good connection

i use DSL...i was initially against it as i heard horror stories about it etc..but the internet is just as fast as my cable had been, with far less outages...the only times it knocks me offline is during a storm..and it's cheaper also..

downside..i must turn off the modem every night before bed, in order for the burglar alarm to work..

Wireless. As in clearwire. Works well anywhere

dial-up sucks...but we get it free since my dad works for the university, and it's better than nothing.
