I'm hyped for it. Probably catch it tomorrow night. It's supposed to be raining tomorrow, anyway, and I love seeing movies on rainy days. Especially ones as inventive as this sounds as if it might be. I'll be seeing it in the digital 3-D, which is apparently MANDATORY. Some things are meant to be seen on the big-screen. I suspect this is one of them. Apparently, this is the first-ever stop-motion/3-D motion picture. Reason enough for me!

I'm not sure but remakes are on the rise due to modern special effects and more realism, and then when that technology becomes outdated they will be remaking them again in thirty to fourty years.
 
Coraline was amazing. They've really come light-years with the digital 3-D! But beyond that, it was a brilliant little children's fantasy with just enough nightmare fodder to wrangle nutjobs like me in, too.

They showed a preview for the coming 3-D Monsters vs Aliens, and that looks to be a hoot, too.
