Magic cards are game cards found in most sports card stores and toy stores. I think you can also find them in some book stores. They're a theme similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Some cards are hard to find since decks are all different. That's why folks trade and stuff. There are a number of yahoo groups for folks to play and trade too.

Magic: The Gathering is a card game back from the early 90's that spun off several copy-cat card games.

They mostly appealed to the "comic book crowd" and have been losing steam and popularity over the past few years, or so.
