what type of music does everyone like?? just curious. i like all types of music, all types of rock, rap/hiphop/r&b, little country, older music(sinatra and elvis)all i can say is i love music..christmas time i like this group named trans-siberian orchestra and i have seen iluv2btickled talking about an orchestra group named gay-yee who i will have to listen to. well i am gonna go check them out right now..some of my fave bands/singers are Nelly(the rapper), Fuel, Linkin Park, Tim McGraw, Drop Kick Murphys(boston irish punk rock band..these guys are crazy!) frank sinatra and plenty more!
~Jeff

interesting variety you like there, out of your list i like linkin park they are cool. i moslt like rock. bands such as metallica, staind, system of a down, korn.

Real bad ass metal like iron maiden or manowar, Epic metal like blind guardian or Raphsody, Old school punk (sex pistols, the clash death kennedys...) and gothic like lacrimosa or skinny puppy...

I simply love msuic. Basically everything. Well, except rap, but only sometimes. My fav artists have to be Gwar(really messed up right there), ICP, MSI, Garth Brooks, Cold, and then it's generally just one or two songs by bands. Like Young girl by Gary Puckett, or Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. Well, there's my input.

My music taste is very wide and diverse. Everything from my fave type music which is classic underground club music from the late 70s and early 80s to classic rock, jazz, real r&b (not the bullshit they call today), real metal ( from the 80's) and the list goes on and on..but dont like anything of today really.

No sweetie, you're confused. The quartet is called "bond". GAY-YEE is my fav member of the group. She's the cellist. She's 1/4 of bond. If you look in the thread Ode to Iluv2btickled, ( hee hee. I got my own thread) I posted some pics of them there. I'm glad to hear you like them. Oh and i love the trans-siberian Orchestra. they rock too!

I Enjoy Bluegrass Instrumental Music. I Especially Enjoy The Guitar Flatpicking. My Favorite Artist Is The Late Clarence White, Co-founder Of The Kentucky Colonels(bluegrass) And Later With The Byrds(folk-rock). That Man Forgot More About Pickin' Than Most People Will Ever Know. Any Music Played From The Heart And Soul And Not The Pocketbook Is Great.

METAL - Slayer , mudvayne , mushroomhead , godsmack , pretty much anything you can band your head to and jam to ( on my guitar that is )

I'm into all sorts of diverse music, most of it you probably never heard of. Mike Patton is one of my favorite musicians. In a week or so the new Fantomas cd comes out and I can't wait for that. I also like a lot of old school punk like Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Bad Brains, The Ramones, The Damned, Dead Milkmen, stuff like that. Also I'm really into the Ultralounge series. Basically whatever catches my ear.

Yeah ur right, never heard of none of them, but I'm open to all kinds of music.

Really all kinds of.......Pixies - Sonic Youth - Massive Attack - Metallica - Portishead - Kinks - THE Beatles - Tindersticks - too many to write. I listen also to clasic music......in fact it depends as usual of the mood 🙂 One thing i really hate : country music.

I have a wide range of music tastes as well, that vary depending upon my mood....anywhere from classical music to some of the metal bands, classic rock, the old big band music and the new, big-band swing that emerged a few years back (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy). Right now, I'm more into, Creed, Evanesence, Staind, Linkin Park, Nickelback...

i do have a wide variety of music i listen to..i like heavy metals list of rock artists..i listen to all types tho..i mean i know i am gonna get heckled for listening to rap(i know i know i heard it so many times..cant spell crap with out rap) but i listen to it when i am driving..if i am at the drag strip or working i listen to rock . just chillin i listen to like frank sinatra, the Ataris(who by the way i feel did a damn good job remaking boys of summer), linkin park, fuel, drop kick murphys(drink to their music, when i do drink which isnt often) the list goes on. thats my variety of music tho.. 😀

ok just wanted to state that both Gay-Yee and Eos from the bond orchestra group are just plain out amazing..they are both very beautiful!! i just heard the group too...they are really good. its not ur typical orchestra group..peace ~Jeff

like the very wise corruptress i too love the groovy sixities music but i also love seventies and eighties rock! prety much if it has a beat that builds in intesity and keeps going i love it . also any of the long hair glam bands are okay in my book. many of these bands now like warretn, slaughter, poison and others give you great concert value as they will usually charge twenty or thirty bucks and have four bands on the bill. this is better than when i paid seventy five for the e street band with jersey boy bruce doing the vocals or fifty for kiss!

i do not like rap at all. i just never got into the idea of stealinga beat, putting lyrics about murdering innocent people and just talkingto be music. i agre that to make the rhtymes takes talents but it not my cup of joe. on the subjecxt of rap i agree wit hthe southern rock band THE WEST TEXAS REDNECKS. they did a great old fashioned country how down song called "RAP IS CRAP". i do not mean to sound negative but i agree with the song. if any of you get a chance i would recommend the west texas rednecks. they are a older band and do not make music anymore due to death of lead singer but in there prime, they had fans eating out the palms of there hands.

a last note on music is i do not usually like classical style but i do like bond. it was recommended to me by a very wise poster who i admire so much on this site. anyway if you want something different then try bond. for the guys you will love it for how hot the ladies are. for the ladies and music lovers you will like it simply for the music

Wasn't this an old WCW gimmick?

Anyway, not all rap is garbage. Just the stuff on the radio. There are really good Mc's who are doing something with the form that are really intriguing other than the mainstream artists (I use that term loosely) who are just, as James Brown would put it, "talkin' loud and sayin' nothin'." I found that if you want to find good musicians, in any style, you're going to have to really keep your ears open to anything and stay the hell away from the radio. It's nothing but a cesspool of sugarcoated pap.

I like Japanese music (J-Pop, etc), music from Video Games (I guess you could say, just instruments in general...would that be like classical? I don't know this stuff 🙂 not everything I listen to like this is from Video Games, but the best stuff is, in my opinion.)... Orchestral stuff...yeah... 😀

I am not too big on anything else, really.... that I know of.

i just bought the new rob zombie "greatest hits type" album..its called past, present, future...its a really good cd for u rob zombie fans and rock fans alike. peace ~Jeff

i have to admit..i am getting quite hooked on the quartet group called bond..they are really good. and Eos and Gay-Yee are lookin hott!

there is no doubt that the bond chicks are hot enough to come close to givng the ladies of this forum a small run for there money.

as far as rob zombie goes, i love his music. the theme song he made for edge is awesome and the theme song he worte for ecw back when ecw first started was awesome as well.

the donnas are a good hard rock group if you like metal. also if you looking for good music, on vh-1 the super group berlin is back and sound great. not to mention the lead chick looks hot enough for all of us to tickle all night long!

now someone asked about a wcw gimmick. well the answer is that yes it was a wcw gimmick but the record sold and it was played on many stations. also there follow up songs were played on some country stations but didn ot do as good. there was once a rumor of a reunion but after two fo the four members died, i doubt it possible.
