I want to see better quality productions. Most companies are still putting out VHS tapes. Those degrade over time, I mean, everytime you play it, it loses quality. It ages simply sitting in a box, or on the shelf. And if your VCR messes up, like so many do, you have a shredded tape and just lost FORTY BUCKS, OR MORE!
DVD's look perfect everytime, they are smaller to store (hide if necessary) are light weight, and remain crystal clear and sharp everytime they are played back. They can sit on the shelf for 70 years and still be perfect. The DVD recorders are finally out and are already gaining new brand names and the prices are slowly going down...of course, if they could be RENTED, you wouldn't need to buy one.
Cameras are getting better. Yet, some videos still look like they were shot on VHS-C. You have digital, then you have the three CCD's cameras that look even better than the consumer ones. And, they're getting cheaper also.
I would love to see attention paid to the lighting set us, or getting lights. Some of these videos still look kind of dark and grainy.
I would love to see the companies take some of those tickle stories and translate them into movies! There was talk of doing a tickle movie a while back, but I guess that didn't come to reality. I look at the stories as, 'this is what people really want to see, but assume they won't, so they write a story.' I say, make it a reality. I always see the same outfit in tickle videos - either a t-shirt and shorts, or bikini. Thats' it! I would love to see the comapanies try newer outfits, costumes, business clothes, party dresses, racequeen outfits, whatever.
People always complain about PLOT. My complaint is,.. for those who complain..., what's to complain about? I haven't seen a video with a plot for a good while. I wish there WERE some newer videos that contained simple plots. (This would go along with the stories.)
I would like to see more shots, more angles in the videos. If you lay the videos side by side, you begin to see patterns. They all start to look alike. I would love to see one shot like a movie, or have angles that serve a purpose. Lower the camera, get more closeups. The top of the feet aren't shown that much. For example: you have a business executive or secretary who has her feet tied up on the desk and is being tickled, her hands tied behind her chair. That position has never been done for a video, I don't believe.
This is kind of what I've been talking about in the whole post:
You could place the camera behind the tickler, and with tilts and zooms, you could get in frame, the tickler, the ticklee's soles, and, the reaction on her face all in the same frame. Then you could cut or slowly zoom to, a close-up of her soles and the ticklers hands.
Then, you can raise the tripod, and get all new angles.
If you want to be fancy, you could start with a close-up of the executive laughing, then slowly pull back to reveal her feet bing tickled. (That would be a great way to start a video for those who just want to get straight to the tickling, with no plot, because there would be a plot, an IMPLIED plot. You would get an idea what was happened without being told so.)
Then , you could move the tripod behind the ticklee. Now you could get the reactions of the tickler, her evil, or innocent smile, the tops of the ticklee's feet, and the back of the ticklee's head. If you are on the side, you could kind of get some of her reaction and the tops of her feet. You could get a close-up of her feet being tickled, then pull back again and see that she is laughing her head off as she watches her feet being tickled. then you could put the camera on teh side, and get a side shot of the whole thing, with closeups of her feet, the tickler's, and the ticklees face.
This is about 10 to 20 different angles with only three quick camera setups.
I think attention should be paid to the artistic merits, and forget about the newest movie star type. You could make a spectacular video with the girl next door type that would be more exciting than the playboy model.
I think everyone loves to see the ticklee actually being tickled and laughing and enjoying it I wouldn't mind seeing more ticklephiles being tickled. Narin did one for Jeff, but I would love to see more. ALL the complaints about the models would go out the door if you got one of the forum members to be tickled, because you know she'd laugh, you know she'd enjoy it, You know she'd tackle the challenge like someone who enjoys tickling, rather than a model who is doing a wierd job and simply wants her check so she can pay her light bill or something.
