What would you do if you discovered by accident that a friend was a member of TT?

What would you do if you discovered, quite by accident, that someone you knew was a part of the TT community? For example, say that you are a Ler and a friend you enjoy hanging out with had accessed the TT site on her phone and forgotten to close that window....so you found it when borrowing it to make a call and learned they were a Lee....would you approach that person about it?:blush

I wouldn't approach them, I'd make funny generic posts if the opportunity presented itself. Tickle them in secret. Knowing theyre enjoying it but could never admit it seems like it would add to the fun!

Funny thing, I've actually twice discovered someone was a Theaterite from outside of the site, though not sure if it counts here as both were from elsewhere online (both in computer games). One I've discovered was a ticklephile through a completely random conversation after said game for something completely different - really an extraordinary display of chance. The other recognized my username. x)

Though that's all online - it was fairly easy to find our way to the topic of tickling. As for the question, in a "real life" scenario - well, it might turn out a little bit like how I first outed myself to my now fiancé: about an hour of pained, nervous hinting, skittishly beating around the bush at times, almost a ridiculous scene of nudging closer and closer to the big reveal, followed by the reddest cheeks known to man. And all this was over the phone. xD If this were a friend in physical proximity, I'd chicken out and resort to IM to broach the subject. :blush

Of course, now I have a bit of a trump card - I am Dalekfire. "Hey...s-so, y'know a member by the name of Dalekfire?" "The mod?!? :blink " "Yeah, the mod. :cool"

I can't possibly see myself letting that go lol I think the conversation would start something like "oh I didn't know you were a member of the theater?" If she played dumb and went on about some local theater I would be like " No....the OTHER theater!" 😛 But that would be a wonderful surprise 😀

The sad truth is that my most probable reaction would be "this is too much of a coincidence", and get suspicious. :/ If, however, it was genuine, I would probably give them plenty of casual opportunities to share, but wouldn't outright call them on it.

With your specific hypothetical of a friend leaving an open site on their phone I would never approach them. That's their privacy and I'd never be that invasive. If however the circumstances were say I find them in one of the personals threads here, get to talking and find out we both know each other then that is just a fun coincidence. At that point no need to approach as we are already at that stage where we both know, and really I have at least 2 friends I know of that are into tickling and I knew them long before I was a member of this site so really the chances of it being true aren't as low as you'd think!

I would probably be more likely to casually attack them way, way more often then bring it to their attention that I'm actually another member. That's if I found out they were a 'lee--if I found out they were a 'ler I might decide to present opportunities, drop a few hints, etc--but then again, I might chicken out due to my complete lack of ability to say 'the t word' outloud :blush

I did run into someone I knew from school on Fetlife once... I didn't communicate with her or anything on Fetlife though and I think this was after the semester of school that I had a class with her so I didn't see her in person... but since that happened I realize that running into someone on one of these fetish sites is possible... but what I'd do about it probably depends on how good a relationship we have...

but if it's someone that I've always wanted to tickle but the opportunity never seemed to happen.. I'd try harder to make it happen... but I'm not sure if I'd actually tell them I'm part of the site...

I agree with this bit. I think if I knew they liked it, I'd be instigating ticklish situations one way or another. If they didn't engage I'd drop it, but if so it'd be fun. Then again, also have to be careful that getting tickly and grabby doesn't complicate anything.

A girl i would at least friend have conversation still both here and outside and sometimes I have had friends be on this site and I was already talking to them lol.
