Depending on who it was I'd probably bring up the subject casually, see their reaction, string them along for a while and in the end ask them if they were a member of the tmf. Then I'd tell em I was.😀

First, be happy. Second, read their posts to see what their specific interests are. Then, let them know that you are also a member.

i figured it would be another guy like myself... gee i must be getting to be a pessimist from hanging around here.
anyway, i'd go to the person and try to be witty, say something like "hey in that pic you posted what did you use to cover the gray?"
and tell him/HER that i was a member also. but i'd lie, and say i was big jim, lol

It depends. If it was my brother, I'd be shocked and suprised. If it was a former or current co-worker I dream about tickling, I'd go find them and quietly tell them I found a pic of them and try to hook up with them for an evening of tickling them. Plus, I'd do a dance of joy!!!

I Did See One..
Once. Surfer Girl. Except he/she was using the pic of a friend of mine. When confronted he/she withdrew the pic and his/her membership. UNFORTUNATELY the mods here wanted to put my friend in the position of proving the pic was actually of her. She has nothing to do with this place so WHY would she have to prove who she is? Either way the pic ended up being removed.

You know Knight Tickler, this thread has made me think!
If I saw a person I knew, I would be pleased to know that they were into something that I am into. The whole common bond buddy thing. If it were a female, I would check my pulse to make sure I was still alive, then proceed with arranging the tickle torture!
However, I would not post my picture here. I don't know why. I would glady send a picture to any registered TMF member. However, I would feel weird if someone were just looking at this website as a goof and recognized me. I am not ashamed of my tickle fetish, and most people who know me know there is a tickling fixation of some sort there.
Here's an idea..make the TMF Member pictures a Registered User Only Area. Anyone who takes the effort to register here is on the level about tickling, and I'd be glad to share my secret identity with.
It's just so funny how desire for anonimity works. I've shared some of my deepest thoughts on one of my more hidden personality traits with complete strangers. However, I won't write certain things that might tip off more about me, i.e. where I live, my occupation, my hobbies.
I am just rambling, or does this make sense to anyone else?

That, dear is a very difficult question. I put myself in the "found out" person's shoes... and wow, if the seeker approached me in the wrong fashion, man... I would freak out, rather than be happy.
I obviously don't wish for that to happen, and that is why I will NOT post my pic on TMF. Wow... if you recognize someone, and you are ok friends or good friends, be honest. If you are not aquaintances at all, be careful approaching them... IF you choose to do so at all.
I have no "great" advise as to how to handle that. Just go really slow though.

Neutron also made a good point...what if, the picture someone posted was a fake? A prank, a cruel trick, or just a deception? (I remember the picture of "Jenny Koots" was listed on an imposter site that showed how that girls face was used like for 7 different people)
That dishonesty makes approaching anyone you think may have a tickle interest more difficult. TickleMantis has the best approach, but with two imposter pics, well, those two people whose faces we don't know make life harder for everyone else here.
That registration idea is sounding pretty good.

The very reality of a TMF user called "Surfer Girl" was in doubt. From what I could gather it was one of those "dual membership" things. As said ex-member then was reported to have passed away due to illness, it seemed a tad too convenient.

Very interesting responses here. I just thought of it when I was looking at the pictures and one of them looked a lot like a friend of mine.
I started wondering what I would do if I found a picture of someone I knew. I still do not know what I would do...
What if it is my boss? Or my best friend? Or a girl I have a crush on? Or a person who hates me? Or a family member?
So many possibilities...
