Whatchu playing?

Yeah, I'm loving it too Impster!

It has Axel Stone from Streets of Rage!

AXEL! STONE!

STREETS! OF! RAGE!

The only way this could get any better is if it had Blaze Fielding as a playable character! 😀

Eagerly awaiting the re-release of Twilight Princess next month, so in the mean time, in between a few dozen Smash Bros fights per day, I'm trying to finish up a few older games I never quite got through. Did some Watch Dogs tonight. Pretty good game, nice concept. The graphics are nice, the hacking mechanics are a lot of fun (if you can suspend your disbelief - puts Hollywood "hacking" to shame in terms of corniness). Not so convinced that I like the actual missions, though. I'm finding some of them a bit cumbersome. I think this is a game that could benefit from a sequel to refine it a bit.
The early missions are a bit weak but it gets better.

2nd to last mission is hype as fuck.

I finished Watch Dogs, and you're right, I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. A lot of reviews criticized the protagonist's hypocritical morality, but I found the criticisms a bit redundant as the game - and the protagonist - were aware of the hypocrisy and commented on it. It was sort of the point. 😛
The missions were occasionally frustrating (really, how many "tailing" missions can you possibly pack INTO a game!?), but when they were good, they were excellent. Story moved at a nice pace, the hacking was fun, shooting was tight, and the stealth was surprisingly satisfying.

I also completed Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, which I've been working on for ages. Possibly my favourite AC game (maybe second to Black Flag). Stealth finally feels good, and the missions were (mostly) fun. Nice protagonists - the twin assassins were pretty cool.

Finally, I bit the bullet and bought Street Fighter 5. Too early to give a mini-review, but first impressions are great. Maining Cammy, as always. 😉

Started playing superhot. Been waiting for it since the tech demo came out a few years ago, super fun.

Ah man, Superhot is actually out? I need to get that.

I've been playing Persona 4 Golden. I have to go on a THIRD NG+ because I fucked up the Jester S. Link and didn't have an earlier save to go back to.

Been playing an MMO called Neverwinter. Been on and off on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, played League of Legends time to time

Neverwinter? As in Neverwinter Nights?

God what I wouldn't give for a single player Baldur's Gate style PC Game for Pathfinder RPG!

Currently playing Undertale! Damn you SANS! I'll HAVE YOUR ONE-EYED BONEY SKULL HEAD!

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Again. 😛 It seems 'cool' to hate this one, but it was always one of my favourites. It has a slow start, but once it gets going, the story is enjoyable, the dungeons are some of my favourites (although Wind Waker had one or two great ones, too), and 'sidekick' Midna steals the show.

Finished Persona and am now going through FE Fates Birthright. It's my first Fire Emblem game, so I'm playing Normal diff on Casual mode, and still doing horribly.

TP because 'cool' to hate because it didn't carve out it's own individual niche as opposed to MM and especially WW, where much of the hate at least used to come from. I always considered it between MM and WW in quality.

lol I shouldn't laugh but I breezed through the game on Hard/Classic with a few exceptions. Kinda makes me think you might just be doing something wrong though since there is a fair bit of know-how in those games. I also can't guess you are that far since you don't have Ryoma to steamroll the game with.

Yeah, once I got Ryoma, the rest of the game was fairly easy. I'm at the final boss fight(s) and I don't have much of a problem with the first fight, but the final, final fight is annoying, since so many of my people are under powered, getting one-shot. Not to mention the accuracy % is full of shit. 92% and I miss my attack, while the enemy has 40% to 60% and they land every hit.

I'll have to wait until next week to have $20 to drop on Conquest, and then even longer until Revelations. I might just say "fuck it" and enable Phoenix Mode in Conquest if it gets to be too hard.

And is it just me, or is it weird that you can romance your siblings? I'm guessing they're not actually your blood relatives, since, you know, you're a fucking dragon, but it's still weird.

Nah the final boss fight is actually rather hard, especially since you have to go through the chapter before without saving. I do keep hearing about hit % bs but maybe I'm just lucky cause I've never had too much issue with it.

But if you had trouble with Birthright normal then Conquest will destroy you. To put it simply, Conquest normal is widely regarded as more difficult than Birthright hard. Chapter 10 is the major breaking point for most, even though it's when you get one of the major cornerstones of your party in Conquest.

And yeah I guess it's kinda weird. I think it's made more weird by how it's done. I dunno if you've actually romanced them but the justification for it is pretty terrible. It's handled better with the Nohr characters.

I didn't romance them because I didn't even realize that they had S-Ranks until I had already gotten married to Felicia (I'm playing as a male in Birthrights, and female in Conquest and then deciding which one I like better in Revelation)

And yeah, if I do find myself being destroyed for the first few chapters in Conquest, I'll probably just restart in Phoenix Mode.

Still playing Twilight Princess. I love the game so much, but there's one mission where you have to escort a carriage. I hate it very much. I know how to do it, and I have done it five or six times before, but it still, even now, with decent-ish controls, takes me ages and ages to do.

Also playing a guilty pleasure, UFC 2. Character creation turned out to be a bust, but the combat is slow and deliberate, and it feels great. You won't be spamming fireballs and dragon punches, but when you do throw a solid hook and it connects with a thud, it feels very satisfying.

Just finished FE Fates Revelation and Broken Age. Gonna pick up Trillion God of Destruction when it comes out next week. I love me ridiculous looking JRPGs.

Don't have much time to dedicate to bigger games so I've been playing a bit of Pokemon Blue and Smash Bros on my 3DS.

Been intending to finally do a pacifist run on Undertale though.

I've been alternating between Dying Light starting over so I can play it all with the following and just started The Division. Debating which Fire Emblem to buy next, holding me over till the nest Destiny patch.

Be prepared for PAIN! MOUNTAINS and MOUNTAINS of PPPAAAIIINNN!

My soul is ready for the destruction that awaits it haha. I haven't had any of it spoiled for me yet (thank christ) but I do know it's going to hit me right in the feels repeatedly.

LOL, wasn't really refering to the ending (let's just say your gonna end up feeling sorry for a certain sadistic daisy). I was refering to the urge to freaking KILL THEM ALL! Instead you've gotta be merciful and resist the urge to not fight back (which is hard to do given all the stress the game puts you through).

Seeing that there was going to be a character from Link's Awakening in Hyrule Warriors Legends, I decided to drop $7 to download the virtual console version of it (I can't stress just how much I love the save state/restore point system the VC games get.) I never really got into the top-down, screen-to-screen Zelda games, but I really like Link's Awakening, although I get completely stuck constantly.

I just beat it this morning, and I had forgotten how satisfying it is to beat a Zelda game. Now I need to beat the Oracle games.

So far the only character I wanted to kill was Tuffet and I actually tried haha, I just won the fight before I could kill her.

I wish I could get into the Zelda games but I just can't. I've only been able to beat Ocarina, I just got bored with the others :/. I think my best chance would be Twilight Princess if I was going to find one that I could really get into.

I just recently started playing Stardew Valley and I'm addicted to that game... Holy crap is it satisfying haha. If you've ever played Harvest Moon and wished it was just a little bit more involving, this would be right up your alley.
