Whatever Happened to Forty Female Fingers?

Where, oh where, did it go?

Did the original tape get buried under the end zone in Giants Stadium? Did a meteor hit and vaporize the original tape? Did TIB accidentally record over it with an episode of "American Idol"? Did the tape cross a made man, and now rests at the bottom of a quarry, tied to a manhole cover?

My point is that this movie won at least one award in this forum. I never heard a negative word spoke or review written of this film. It was definitely on it's way to becoming a Tickling Video Classic! AND I NEVER GOT A COPY, and there appears to be no way to get a copy.

If the video was going to be retired, it seems that a film of such magnitude would have went out with a little pomp and circumstance. A parade held, or a statue of Priscilla James, with tongue between toes, commissioned.

Any ideas on where it went, why it went, and how I can legally and ethically procure a copy?

No offense, but it is little gaffes like this that are leading to the downfall of Realtickling/TC Videos as King of the Video Producers. For the record, I consider myself a fan of their products, and supported and believed in TIB during the "Celebrity Tickle Movie" project.

Just imagine if MGM no longer sold "Gone With The Wind"?

i can answer this! when we stopped selling all VHS tapes it obviously was taken off the market. we had plans on putting all previous VHS titles onto dvd, and have done just that with a few titles so far. but we still have not had the time, energy and man power to format 40 Female Fingers on to dvd yet and quite honestly maybe we never will. that you compare it to gone with the wind is cool though. 🙂

That's one thing that I've always respected about you TIB...you have a brass sack. Thank you for offering me an answer and not getting ofended by constructive criticism.

When and if you get the time, energy, and man power to put a VHS to DVD, make sure it is 40 Female Fingers. Oh, and make sure you code it for Dolby 5.1, so I can watch it on my home theater system !
