What's the weirdest dream you ever had?

Topic says it all. Just post whatever you can remember about, doesn't have to be extremely detailed. This thread is inspired by a dream I had last night, must have been the weirdest dream I ever had.
So it started in this movie/video game/cd store with an arena in it. Apparently these ghost alien bodysnatchers were taking over the world, and I was one of the only people who wasn't possessed (of course). So I was running around to all these different places searching for a video game that this elephant thing had said would help me save the world. Now we get to the weird part.
You know on tv when the person is dreaming and they wake up, except they're not really awake. Well, I must have woke up about 20 something times in this dream. And every time I woke up I was in the same situation with the ghost alien bodysnatchers, but in a different place (I swear I was in Middle-Earth at one point). So yeah, weird :weird:

I have a recurring dream which I think is really weird.Whenever my parents go on holiday and I have the house to myself I always dream about forgetting to lock the door and I come home and the house is trashed and loads of stuff has been taken.No matter how long it is between when I've got the house to myself again I always have the exact same dream-pretty much the same detail as well.Freaky.

Oh man, weird dreams... I have these all the time - I often write down the better ones. There's a whole pile of them in the safe.

My favourite has to be one I had a while ago. When I was learning to drive, I had a corrupt instructor who I will just call "Tony", who gave me endless hassle and did everthing in his power to stop me getting a license. Now this dream will sound like a perfectly-written Hollywood movie, but I swear, hand on heart, this is exactly how it happened.

So I'd been driving for just three months. One day, I went down to my car and got in. Tony was sitting in the passenger seat with a clipboard. "Okay" he said, "if you don't pass this test, you won't be able to keep driving."

I was annoyed, but I reluctantly agreed. I started the engine, reversed, hit the kerb and wheel-spinned away. I sped up the road at about 80mph, and at the last second, jumped out of the car, just as it smashed into a funeral parlour, taking Tony with it.

What a lovely dream.

Possibly the wierdest dream I've ever had, and definitely the most humorous (hopefully) for you guys to read: I don't remember much of it. I hadn't been on TT for a few weeks, and I drempt I was talkin to someone, I think tkfan or Socks. The funny thing:

I enjoyed all the dreams so far, especially TKLVR's surprise ending.


I used to have lucid dreams, you know, the kind where you realize it's a dream, but you stay asleep, and you can control the dream a little.

I was trapped in a cave behind iron bars. It seemed impossible, so I realized it was a dream and knew I could do anything. So I passed, with some resistance, not between, but through the bars, like in Terminator 2. Then I was suddenly at the mall, but they wouldn't let me in because I had no shoes. I stared at my feet and imagined shoes. They were there, but they wavered, steadying only after I looked up. Suddenly, I was walking a long way home. I realized I could just "will" myself home, and then I appeared in my apartment. I walked up the stairs, feeling more tired with every step. In my bedroom, I saw my own body asleep. Now groggy, with my dream hand, I touched my sleeping body's shoulder. I awoke feeling someone's hand on me. I was scared until I realized it was my own hand gripping my shoulder. It was a little creepy, but I love lucid dreams.

The weirdest dream I ever had occured in high school. I went to bed on Tuesday night, then had a dream where I went through a standard, typical Wednesday. When I woke up, it took me nearly an hour to realize it was Wednesday and not Thursday...

Heh, pretty funny ones thus far. And TK, you sure that was a dream? Have you been taking Ambien? 😉
And believe me, pretty much every dream I have is weird. I vividly remember this one dream I had. All I remember was being chased by these midgets in yellow suits on a beach, who were throwing these exploding bananas or something at me. Actually I think that was mostly it, but I don't remember well. But it is kinda funny :laughing:

I have very vivid dreams...and most of them are nonsensical...

However, a certain curse/gift of mine is that I have these particularly vivid dreams where some aspect of the dream has to do with the person who, when I wake up, I will learn has just passed away (I know...everyone tells me not to dream about them)...it's an awful thing sometimes...I know I'm going to have one when I get so tired out of nowhere I can barely walk...it's like my body forces me to shut down, and let the dreams happen...thankfully, I haven't had one in a while...

Example: I had a dream where I was at a sorority sister's family's house...we were all hanging out back by the pool, when I noticed a shabby old silo on the back end of the property. When I asked anyone about it, they got a terrified look on their face, and changed the subject. Last thing I remember is staring at it, trying to make sense of what it was doing there and why everyone was so scared...

I woke up to learn that my grandpa had passed...so what's the connection? One of my most vivid memories of my grandpa is of him telling me what happened to his family during the Holocaust...he lived in Poland, and, to hide his brother, wife, and baby, they all hid in an abandoned silo...my grandpa went out one day to get food...when he came back, they'd all been shot. anytime I ever thought of my grandpa, that story came to mind...and then the dream happened...

Sorry to be morbid...I have good dreams too!!! Just can't think of one off of the top of my head right now...

OK...weirdest dream I ever had. I am in a 19th century style Opium Den (like you see in From Hell) with the crew from the Howard Stern Show. I am watching Monday Night Football with Fred Norris. He asks me where my wife is (keep in mind I'm not married) and I reply, "Oh she's having a drink at the bar." At which point I look over and my wife turns around and it's Shannen Doherty!

I don't usually remember my dreams, but one has really stuck with me. I had a dream that I was in something like a rebel Mexican army, perhaps 200 years ago, and we were all wearing white peasant-type clothes. We were encamped on some high bluffs overlooking an absolutely gorgeous vista of the ocean. Government troops had quietly climbed the bluffs and dropped over our lines leading to a battle. I had the impression that I was some sort of low-level officer trying to direct troops when an enemy came up from behind and slit my throat. Then a couple more came and cut my heart out of my chest and tossed it aside. My last thought was that my family would never know what became of me.....then I woke up. The end lol.

Oh man, death dreams suck. I've had loads. 🙁

I had the classic "falling off a cliff dream", and failed to wake up once I hit the ground. I hit it painlessly, got up, and looked down at a mass of leaves, branches and my own body. I thought I was dead, and my first thought was "how am I going to give my friend his CD back now?"

The worst death dream I had was drowning. I was in a small, flooded cave and I kept sucking in water. The more it filled my lungs, the more it weighted me down. I tried to jump to the surface, but didn't have the energy. Then I woke up gasping.

Heh... after watching any horror movie, I get really fucked up dreams.

I'll make this short. After watching the Ring a week ago, I had a dream where Samara came out of her well and chased me all over the halls of my highschool. The nightmare ended with her placing her decomposed hand on my face when I turned around, thinking I was safe.

Heh, it was scary. THings are always scarier when you're actually involved in them.

Umm... I watched the Ring exactly seven days ago... ummm...

Pretty much all of my dreams don't make any sense at all.....but almost all of them are like where I'm watching from the outside looking in, like watching a movie with other people playing out everything. Its probably because I'm a film fanatic.....and on quite a few occasions my dream even "ended" with scrolling end credits right before I woke up! LOL

My absolute favorite "I know its a dream" dream was when I was little. I was inside a big log truck, and I was driving, then I started to pull on the horn, honking it. (you know, the big truck string horns...) then, I started checking my clipboard, but then I looked back up... and the truck was steering itself... so I was gonna jump out... for whatever reason. I couldn't get the door open, then it hit me... THIS IS A DREAM!

I was suddenly delighted in my discovery... and... I wanted to wake up. I tried to slam my head into the dashboard... but, since it didn't happen in real life... I ended up ALMOST slamming my head into the dash board... my face hovered a good 2 centimeters away from it.

I was slightly disappointed, to say the least.
